During our stay, we spent 5 nights in this hotel. The location is great, the vista of the mountains is amazing, and the interior decoration is pleasant and welcoming. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and the rooms are very clean. A very peaceful and quiet setting. The only problem I can think of is that the food at breakfast was occasionally not properly refilled and that there was a long wait time for coffee. The food is of a very good quality.

We chose to stay at this hotel for 5 nights based on its rating as one of the most scenic in the world. This reputation is well earned, but make sure to request a room with a view of the valley and lac lean as some rooms face the mountains. Our room was very comfortable and had lovely amenities such as an espresso coffee machine and pods, herbal teas, a fridge stocked with filtered water and sparkling water, a large room with great reception and english language channels. The bathroom is very well appointed with nude products, toiletries, robe and slippers. Everything is spotless. On-site restaurant offers regular menus and discovery menus, with a choice of 5, 6, or 7 courses that each picks. We chose the course dinner and it was delicious. The wine recommendation was spot on. We thought the quality of the food, wine, and service more than justified the price compared to similar tasting meals we had in the past. Finally, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional and went out of their way to respond to our requests. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel that was fun to stay in any season.

In the woods, the hotel is situated in a peaceful area. Perfect for a getaway. The room was excellent, and the breakfast was the same, although the breakfast was of a low quality, and the reception appeared to be helpful in spite of the service's poor quality. After we left and discovered we had left something behind, this is especially true. We requested that it be shipped and offered to pay for it. They were totally unable to handle this. I cannot imagine it! When you leave an item behind, the hotel tells you that they have discovered it but won't make an effort to ship it back even though you have offered to pay! I think it was too much work for them. We were no longer guests and had paid. They may want to remind people that service can make the difference in addition to the room itself and breakfast. Its unfortunate because the hotel initially gave a favorable impression.
