We reserved this hotel because it was on our way through Germany, but we were happy we did. It's a lovely area, with welcoming and helpful employees, spacious rooms, and excellent amenities. Parking is a little difficult some websites claim parking is available, but it's actually in a public parking lot the parking city backs onto the hotel and has direct access. Once youve found it, give the ticket to the front desk, and theyll give you an exit ticket at a very reasonable price of 3. We looked around the small, but highly interesting town with many bars and restaurants before choosing to eat in the hotel itself. It was a very good meal with a fantastic bottle of local white wine. Two starters, two generous main courses, wine, two coffees, and a beer arrived at a very reasonable 54. 70 45$ 60. The town clock does chime all night, but it is not intrusive. Public bin collections at first are in the early morning, but if you want to lie in it wouldn't be good. In that case, ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was excellent fresh, tasty, and had a wide variety. This is a hotel that will undoubtedly be remembered.

If you are in the middle of a city, this is a great place to stay. The hotel has roomy and spotless rooms, a delicious breakfast, and a very affordable restaurant. The wifi may be a little faster and there is also a clock outside the town hall that rings every 15 minutes. Overall, this was a wonderful stay.

This hotel is very suitable for a one night stopover on a roundtrip from Calais to Kraken. The room is spotless, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are also very quiet. Great value for money, and I would definitely go back to this hotel again.

There arent many options in a dozen, but the Dobelner of is a decent and solid choice. A very typical small town hotel in Germany, they offer affordable accommodation without extras, but everything is neat and tidy. My room was a decent size, had a comfortable bed, free wifi that was quite slow and the connection was spotty, and a bathroom with a shower. The curtains were close to nonexistent, so you would wake up with the sun. Breakfast, which is always included in the room rate, was nice. There isnt a lot of variety, but everything is of high quality. Expect fresh rolls, cheeses, cold cuts, youghurt, muslim, some fruit and vegetables, and eggs made on request. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, which also serves lunch and dinner. Very affordable but not too memorable. All staff members were friendly and helpful. If you come late, keep in mind that reception closes at 10 a.m. after which guests can enter using their keycard. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the lovely old town.

The Dobelner is a typical small German hotel. Our room was very clean and of good size, and the hotel location is ideal just off the main square. The hotel doesn't have a dedicated parking area, but there is free parking nearby and you can park your luggage right next door. Breakfast is good, and dinner is yummy typical German menu, simple and well made food. Dozen is a very pretty small town that's well worth a visit.
