We stayed here with my partner when we were in town for a wedding and found it to be very well located with great staff to help. Good value for the price and a great restaurant that looked to be frequented by locals. The street it is located on is nothing special but I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Würzburg.

We were on a family trip to Germany. We stayed in 6 rooms in the Stadt. The hotel is a short walk from the central market and about 15 minutes walk from the train station.

This place is very convenient to get to and from the train station. In addition, it is close to several places to visit. They served a fantastic breakfast made with homemade dishes. The personnel was extremely kind. The room was little but it was tidy.

I am not sure there are any better hotels in Würzburg. The hotel dortmunder is more of a motel, connected to a downstairs restaurantbar. The hotel is without a doubt the second priority of the owners because it is basic and uninteresting. Having said that, the rooms are of decent size, relatively roomy, and not too cramped. They are clean, and they provide a fairly comfortable place to stay. There are no air windows, so it can get a little hot in summer. Be aware that free wifi does not reach the upper floors or side corridor, but it works fine elsewhere. The proprietors were friendly and spoke good English. However, it was difficult to contact them because they were busy in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of continental foods preserves, bread, cakes, salad, and was a lovely experience. The location is great. It takes seconds to reach Wurzburgs historic pedestrianized heart on foot. Wurzburg is incredibly small, so everything is within walking distance of the hotel. Its also convenient that the train station hauptbahnhof is only a 10 minute walk away as there are many good day trips nearby from Wurzburg, including Bavarias rothenburg, bomber, regensburg, Nuremberg, etc. My main issue was that the hotel did not inform me that I would be charged

stayed a couple of nights last weekend for a local football game. The hotel was very helpful in arranging my changing arrangements and was approachable. The rates were fair and when I arrived, I was gifted a nice glass of wine. It is well situated close to the city center, an easy walk to the main bus stop and various tourist attractions. The breakfast was excellent! Highly recommended for a stay in Wuerzburg.
