At least five years in a row, we have stayed in this hotel twice a year, and we have never been let down by the warm hospitality of the owners and staff or by the excellent meals. The rooms are clean and have all the usual amenities for business travelers as well as tourists. We wholeheartedly endorse this hotel in a peaceful area of halting near the Swiss border near Will am rein.

We needed a hotel when we crossed the border in Base, Switzerland because our drive from rome took us a little longer than anticipated. Because restock was the closest rathaus, navigation actually chose for us. As soon as we walked through the restaurant, we noticed it was full. With a little nervousness, we asked for a room, and we werent let down. The woman behind the counter noticed our stuffed cases and went about her job without making any preliminary adjustments. She handed us the key, gave us two vouchers for wifi, asked if we needed a meal, and told us how to get to the room. We were on the first floor, surrounded by five rooms. There must be additional rooms too, one level up. The diner was excellent. The menu was traditional German with a Swiss touch. We enjoyed it, but we were too exhausted to really enjoy the fantastic meal. The minibar was packed, and it was absolutely worthless. We traveled to Rome several times and wished we had discovered this hotel sooner. It was a treat. The breakfast was truly varied. Freshly baked bread, several jams, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, yoghurt, eggs. Free parking on the hotel grounds.

Friendly staff. Very close to based but in Germany so relatively cheap. Far enough from the highway to be in a quiet spot. Very clean room and food. Outdoor terrace where you can eat if weather allows. Kids loved the chicken nuggets which are made of real chicken pieces, not deep frozen garbage.

We stayed at this hotel for a stopover after our long drive from Holland to the german border. The staff was very friendly. There is a spacious parking area at this hotel so it is simple to park our motorbike. The rooms were lovely and the tide was nice. The breakfast was good.

This hotelrestaurant was chosen on our way to italy on the recommendation of friends. It was nice and bodenstandig feet on the ground. We were not dissatisfied. Expect no five-star luxury, but the rooms are lovely, contemporary, and clean. The location near the Swiss border is fantastic. The food in the restaurant was supposed to be excellent, but it was closed when we went there in the beginning of November. No issue, a lot of delicious, wholesome restaurants can be found within walking distance.
