This place is worth a visit to. Casa San Juan is the ideal location to escape. I went primarily for yoga, but I really enjoyed the experience. I visited an antique and neighboring village, and the meals there were delicious, cooked with fresh, local ingredients, and with much love. The grounds, rooms, and common areas in San Juan are serene and tranquil.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Juan! The rooms are lovely decorated and designed, immaculately clean and the bed is very comfy. Ginger opens her house to her guests and it is a lovely house with beautiful paintings, sculptures and very comfortable lounge couches. I enjoyed her morning yoga sessions. She teaches all levels. And she is a huge source of information. She assisted my husband with a skin problem by recommending the use of aloe. He still uses it. Ginger is a wonderful host and I hope to see you again!.

On December 27, 31, our group held a writing retreat at Casa San Juan. The staff was great. The grounds are meticulously landscaped and maintained, and vegetarian food is prepared three times a day with love and care from the cooks. We had dietary restrictions gluten-free, vegan, and were accommodated with care. A few day trips were wonderful. One of the best aspects of our stay at csj was the yoga classes that were held every morning. These were taught skillfully by nancy, who provided gentle guidance throughout each session as well as variety, bringing to each mornings class some new thoughts and insights and allowing each participant to work at the intensity that is best for each, whether lowintensity, highintensity, or both. I've been a long-time yogi, and I learned a lot from nancy! She is also a massage therapist who offered optional sessions to those of us who wanted to schedule a massage. She charged less than I'm used to paying for a full, laborious session while providing a relaxing and refreshing experience throughout. I hope we'll see Casa San Juan once more.

This location is a shock to me. Ginger is possibly the most well-known yoga teacher in Guatemala. She is a direct disciple of Sri Baba Bodosh. And she is one of the yoga teachers trainers who provide education for certification 200 in California's Mount Madonna Aramco. Don't let the posed environment turn you off. reminds us that we live among locals and that our life is not a scape of Guatemala's reality. San juan del Obispo is a typical painteresque small town. Inside the posed is a calm and pure space with an amazing library and two beautiful cats. The rooms are cozy and welcome you to be enchanted by the architecture's eco design. Ginger's yoga classes are amazing and right to keep your yoga practice rooted in its purpose. The ayurvedic classes are also excellent. She is an artist to simplify philosophical concepts where ayurvedic is rooted to make them accessible to you. Food is invariably static and excellent as ginger is also a chef. She is an ayurvedic therapist so this is a good starting point to find balance in your daily life and yoga practice through food and very asserted advice based on your ayurvedic constitution. As a long time yoga student, I

This is a little gem that is located in San Juan. Highlights are the friendly owner, yoga classes, and great, great food. Highly recommended. It is also fun to wander around San Juan with all the local craft stores. Makes for an authentic stay.
