It was a cool little town and I wish we would have had more time to explore the area. The accommodation was clean and the automatic coffee/latte/cappuccino machine worked well. Two women were fixing omelettes and cutting a vegetables when I got up and it smelled really good. We were not prepared to use the kitchen to its full capacity.

We had a wonderful stay here. I especially loved that the guesthouse offers a fully equipped kitchen that guests can use for free, along with complimentary laundry facilities and a coffee dispenser. The place was spotless, and the beds were clean, fresh, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seyðisfjörður.

This guesthouse feels almost like a very small hotel but with shared bathrooms. Shared just means it isn't exclusively yours to use. There are locks on the bathroom/WC doors, and there were three or four places to go relieve yourself - and they are all 'private' in the sense that you are alone in the WC with a door to lock. This guesthouse had a wonderful kitchen, which we used to cook both dinner and breakfast. It also has a EXCELLENT automatic espresso maker coffee machine with very good coffee beans in it! After too many gas-station 'espressos', this was such a welcome thing to have! For real, I am grateful to the hosts who chose to spend a bit more to put good beans in their great machine. Also - kudos and gratitude to the hosts for making that machine complimentary! This place has a beautiful waterfall just half a KM behind it, and is walking distance to the waters of the fjord. Also, the town is just half a km up the road as well. Don't miss the hike up to Tvisonger! It is a great little 20 minute hike, with a rewarding experience in the sonic domes with a picturesque small waterfall nearby, and of course, epic fjord views.

A great place to stay in Seydisfjordur. My room was very clean and comfortable. There is a large kitchen which provides guests free coffee and use of cooking utensils for meal preparation. The staff was most helpful in suggesting a place to eat for the evening. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

Wonderful from the moment we arrived. So welcoming, lovely homely informal atmosphere. Best kitchen of the trip. Superb room and bathroom, the prettiest village. Laundry out of order only slight issue, otherwise perfect.

This hotel was clean & well maintained. It was quiet & lots of parking. PLUS! free laundry which was a nice surprise. It is right across the street from the water & easily walkable. This hotel is quiet, clean & very nice. The self serve kitchen was clean & big. The wifi was a bit in & out in our room but great in the kitchen area (there are 2 wifi zones). Would stay here again.
