The location of this hostel is in the city center with private transportation. There are many places to eat around, all of which can be reached on foot. It is always a pleasure to stay in this facility, the owner is very friendly and almost always available at the hostel. The staff are very helpful and always ready to fulfill your requirements. There is public transportation but public transportation is a problem. If you're looking for a cheap hotel in Calcutta with a positive vibe, this is the place for you.

I stayed in July. Located in the center of Kolkata, it provided good connectivity to local areas for me to visit. Food was available. Transportation was convenient. Would definitely recommend it.

The location of this hotel is in the city center. It is in a very strategic spot. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. There are shared toilets. So it's important to clean the toilet regularly. The breakfast did not arrive on time. Only one choice for breakfast. Good value for money. Wifi connection is good.

We spent three nights in a mixed dorm with four beds. This place is a shambles. Imagine a structure on one floor with as many beds in it as possible, so people in the busiest rooms had to leave their bags in the small hallway area. The ac in the room was excellent but without a remote. There were only 50 of the time that anyone sat there at the reception desk. The staff was not helpful either. Toilet paper was always out of sight, and we asked for toilet paper between us around five times, and the staff would simply ask how many, assuming we could fill the rest of the toilets for them. In my opinion, the staff is no match for being there or the guest. The complimentary brunch was excellent. Every day, the same food, but one morning, we had the same food. The washrooms are filthy, although I wouldn't say they were awful, and there were always random pants hanging up in the shower. Clearly no one was returning for them, but they weren't tossed away. Just leave next to a sign stating you shouldn't hang your belongings in the washroom or they will be thrown. I wouldn't worry too much about them getting tossed. The location is excellent, you are in the city's heart and close to the subway. Both the bathrooms and the bathrooms are tidy and cozy. Wifi is adequate. However, the breakfast was very limited and basic. Moreover, despite the 24 hour guarantee, I frequently needed assistance at the front desk during the night including check out.
