It is a 15-minute drive from the town on a nice park site across from Portoferraio's harbor. There is a lovely outlook of the city from the swimming pool area. The beach isn't ideal for swimming due to its proximity to a busy ferry port, which makes it a little polluted, but the hotel has an excellent beach in Ancora, south of the island, that appears to be okay. Our 3-person room, number 223, was little and uncomfy, and it would have been nice if the decor had been upgraded from the late seventies. There is a very little shower and toilet area, no bathtub. You must drive to town, so it's too far to walk. Good WiFi and free parking. The breakfast buffet was a little standard. When we complained about the lack of air in our room, it had to be switched in the computer at reception, but it still didn't work, so the temperature inside remained over 24 degrees. The employees arrived into the apartment in the evening and tried various settings, but nothing happened. That was a reason for us to leave the following day because the hotel acted well about it, so we didn't have to pay for the following nights that we didn't stay. We later read another review complaining about the air, so the rooms' air was probably defective. It appears to be a

The hotel is located in a country park setting, with a large pool, another pool for kids, a beach, and a view of the harbor bay. The staff were very helpful but the hotel is too far from historical sites, unless you have a car. It was a high-cost taxi ride from the ferry to town for supper. The hotel had a restaurant, but no other options were near by.

This hotel staff is very amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. They prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the morning. It was a pleasure to stay there and we enjoyed the swimming pool. Will come back to stay here again.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. The management is really attentive to customers' hospitality. Beautiful swimming pool, many activities including the possibility of renting chairs and umbrellas on the most beautiful beaches of the island. Recommended and to come back.

A beautiful location, 10 minutes from downtown and ferry, along the Laguna and in front of town. Perfect staff from the front desk to the restaurant, except maybe one old grumpy at the pool bar. Great food and a fantastic breakfast buffet. The pool cold and the jacuzzi hot. The beach is nice but not suitable for swimming. Nice rooms, especially the ground floor ones in front of Laguna. The only big drawback is millions of hungry mosquitoes all day!.
