I and 5 other friends were staying at the allergy bella vista in August. We are all in our late 50s. I am very young at heart. The location of this hotel is excellent. You walk through the front door and are immediately on the main promenade with a view of the lake which is absolutely beautiful lots to do lots of shops and restaurants and lovely cobbled streets to explore so beautiful The food in all restaurants is good and the ice cream is fantastic. The staff and shopkeepers are friendly and take care of all of your needs. The hotel was outdated and may need a little updating, but the proprietors are present and accommodating The rooms are simple but comfortable We had a junior suite and a triple room, towels and sheets were changed daily. Breakfast was very Italian and basic with lots of fruit and cakes, but enough to help us through lunch. The town is not for party animals, as all of that is closed by 23. The bellavista restaurant next to the hotel has nothing to do with the hotel, but serves a very affordable evening meal with very present staff.

It probably won't be the best choice for lunch in Simone, but the restaurant is quite busy and in a nice location, so we took a seat. Ordered 2 pasta dishes, they were big, but mainly pasta, not much filling. Good taste. The service was good, but very busy.
