Borgo del Cabreo was our favorite place we stayed on our trip to Italy in March. Every detail of the Borgo was thoughtfully curated and is situated in the most beautiful setting in the Chianti region. The rooms and bathrooms were big. The king size bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious in the most idyllic setting. The city center of Florence was loud at night even in March, so coming here was very restorative to my soul. The sounds of nature, birds singing, the idyllic scenary, was a wonderful contrast to Florence. We had the most wonderful dinner and wine at their sister property Pietra del Cabreo. My kids and I would return to Italy just to stay here again.

This inn is ideal for the traveler seeking a beautiful hilltop location in the heart of Chianti Country. Breakfast was excellent and the sister hotel nearby has a wonderful restaurant as well. The town of Greve is at the bottom of the hill, and there are numerous excellent wineries close by. Highly recommend this for someone wanting the perfect Tuscan wine country experience.

Everything about our stay was incredible!!! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights last week. It was a very short drive to downtown Greve and easy access to so many vineyards. I cannot wait to stay here again! We were unexpectedly upgraded to the villa upon check in which was so spacious, clean and gorgeous. It was the nicest room we have ever stayed in! The grounds of the hotel were impecable and well maintained. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. We loved lounging by the pool area during our stay and the gorgeous views of the Tuscan hillsides. The breakfast on site was delicious with so many options. We especially loved the unlimited espresso and waters during our stay! We had dinner at the sister property up the street and it was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

The service was beyond excellent—warm, attentive, and truly personalized. The rooms were fabulous, blending luxury with authentic Tuscan charm, and the amenities exceeded all expectations. The gorgeous pool overlooks the vineyards, offering a peaceful, picture-perfect place to relax. Strolling the lavender-lined paths, surrounded by vibrant flowers, felt like being in a fairytale. The breakfast on the panoramic patio each morning was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and paired with views that never get old. And of course, the Cabreo wine is sublime—we enjoyed every glass! The location is ideal—close to charming restaurants, lovely shops, and warm, welcoming locals. The taxi service was prompt and helpful, making it easy to explore nearby villages and return to the quiet luxury of the resort. We left already planning our return. Borgo del Cabreo isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

Amazing place in every way! The wonderful room with lovely views, a porch to sit on overlooking beautiful gardens and countryside! Have your awesome homemade croissants and cappuccinos and other breakfast items overlooking the vineyards and pool ! The host was so kind and helped us with anything.
