We stayed at the Dom Dome Sansseriana Hotel for five nights. The hotel is pleasant and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit basic but perfectly adequate. Breakfast was the only downside as there was very little variety. Overall, I will definitely come back here.

This building used to be a monastery, but it's now turned into a hotel. It is rather basic, but still very authentic and unique. The positive things are the particular building, with long and long hallways, the breakfast on the roof with the beautiful view, and being conveniently located next to the subway. Very reasonably priced. The negative things are that the breakfast is terrible, and the coffee is probably the worst in Italy. You can't find this inferior quality in any hostel in Europe.

The breakfast was very disappointing, two bite-sized pieces of bread each morning and on our last day tea and coffee were served in plastic cups which wasnt really acceptable. The hotel is a bit outside the city center, which is a touch difficult if you like the metro like me, but the front desk can arrange a taxi for you, which is available in no time. We spent three days in this hotel. The hotel is rather bare but clean and unique in a lovely way. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

The cost is not worth what I paid for. When visiting Rome recently, we stayed in this stunning hotel. Excellent location close to all the sights 15 minutes walk to the colosseum and the treat fountain. 25 minutes by train to the Vatican city for a few euros the hotel is an old monastery church so the rooms are not your typical hotel room obviously very dated and darksmall but very authentic. The cafeteria is terrible cheap and nasty, there is no buffet, and there are only pastries and sweets available. The view from the rooftop is spectacular! As a result, we skipped breakfast because we had our first experience. Great coffee at a lower price is available in a vending machine. The inside entrance and roof top view are included.

I would most likely return. The hotel structure itself is stunningly lovely, tied to a church it's an old monastery, with amazing views across Rome from the roof terrace. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It's spotless and clean. The rooms all have a TV and air conditioning, and a unlimited supply of breakfast goods. There are several downsides, but not enough to make me want to stop there again. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, so once breakfast is finished you must go downstairs to the entry area to purchase tea and coffee from a coffee machine. I did discover I had to request an extra blanket as it got quite cold one evening and the bed only had one very thin blanket on it. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in had a sulfuric eggy smell from the bathroom, which was rather overpowering at first. I've googled it, and it's not dangerous just very smelly. The staff were very accommodating and offered us another room, but we found the same smell in another room, so we decided to stay where we were instead of the turmoil. Breakfast consisted mostly of bread, cakes, and pastries, but there was also yogurt and fruit. It's about a 30 minute walk to the colosseum.
