The location is good, but the gents are dirty and the air quality is bad. There are also some baby moths in the bathroom. Good privacy and great location, however it is still under construction so the people are very dirty.

We stayed here for four nights and were very satisfied with our stay. Its location near the colosseum is great, walking distance to all attractions. We only took another mode of transportation to get to and from the airport and the church. Really comfortable beds, great service and highly recommended.

The resident of maximus was fantastic. We reserved a room, but the address was in another building. Because the bookings address differed from the one on the reservation, it took us ages to locate the office. When we located the location of the offices, they gave us an apartment with 57 stairs and no view or lift. They moved us to another structure after we complained, which was incredibly nice and had enamored with kitchens and tenstar views of collocium. Very happy. Excellent location. If i could, ill give it 0 stars.

The best room we could have ever stayed in in Rome! Great view from the window and very comfortable. Very comfortable and clean! The location was great as it was close to everything including buses, the red metro line colosseo and taxis in front of the hotel! Thank you for everything we will come back and request the same room!.

The place is quiet, very clean, the location is great, and the staff is friendly. Beds are always remade and fresh linen. I will use them again on my next visit.

The hotel is spacious enough and conveniently located near the city center, shops, monuments, restaurants, and other attractions. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. It is clean and tidy. If you need to travel to the airport or other places, this place is well connected.

We had a wonderful stay at the maximus residence apartment. Perfect location, right next to colosseum, with many famous sights within walking distance. The room was clean and serviced daily. Great customer service. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great time during our three nights there, all you could possibly need for sanitizing was here. The bed was comfortable and conveniently located near everything.

Announcement

As of January 1st 2011, the Municipal Council of Rome has introduced a room occupancy tax in the amount of maximum EUR 3.00 per person per night – applicable for maximum 10 days. Starting from September 1st, 2014 the amount has been increased up to EUR 7.00 per person per night (depending on the accommodation type and star rating). Children under the age of 10 years are exempt from payment. The fee will be asked of anyone staying in overnight accommodation inside Rome’s boundaries at the end of each stay. The fee is not included in the price and must be paid at the Hotel.
Check-in or check-out outside the mentioned hours may be subject to an additional charge.
Guests are required to check-in at Capo D'Africa 24.
Reception is open from 09:30 AM to 06:30 PM on weekdays and from 10:00 AM to 06:30 on Saturday and from 10:00 Am to 06:00 PM on Sunday. Guests arriving outside these hours are requested to contact the property directly prior to arrival so alternative arrangements can be made.
The hotel does not have 24 hours reception; therefore guests are kindly requested to inform the property in advance of their estimated time of arrival. This can be noted in the Special Request Box during booking.
