As of 1 March 2026, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property during the check-in process. The tax is determined by the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows: 

【Accommodation tax through 28 February 2026】  
For room rates less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 500   
For room rates of JPY 50,000 or more: JPY 1,000  

【Accommodation tax from 1 March 2026, onwards】  
For room rates less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400  
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000   
For room rates from JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000 
For room rates of JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000   

For the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “accommodation fee” will refer to the room-only rate, excluding any meal charges and consumption tax.  
Please settle the payment at the hotel upon check-in.
Effective October 1, 2008, Accommodation Tax will be applicable by Kyoto City Law as follows:
JPY 200 per person per night for room rate below JPY 20,000
JPY 500 per person per night for room rate of JPY 20,000 and below JPY 50,000
JPY 1,000 per person per night for room rate of JPY 50,000 and over

Futon bedding will be provided if 3 or more guests stay in a room.

If a guest wish to add breakfast for the following day, reservation must be made by 4:00 PM the day before.
The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.For this reason, we cannot offer a plan that includes breakfast to guests who check out on the same day.
