This hotel is highly suggested if you don't mind the appearance. Asahikawa train station is approximately a 510-minute walk from the hotel. On each of those nights, I spent two nights here overall, one on each side of a trip to wakkanai. As other reviewers have said, the hotel is a touch outdated inside, but that was the only drawback. Every thing worked, especially the heating, as it dropped to 10 degrees on one of those nights. Some rooms have no view, but they still have outside windows. However, the most wonderful features of this motel are the very inexpensive prices, especially if you reserve online. The wonderful staff who delivered our luggage to our room and was extremely helpful in providing us with plates and cutlery for our microwaved supper. There are two microwaves that guests may use.

I reserve a swimroom, and it is spotless and roomy. Location is convenient. The room has a view, and it was on the upper level as I asked. Although I am prepared to pay for the cost, I left some personal belongings behind in the hotel, and they confirmed it, but they refused to return them to me. I appreciate their kind service and Japanese kindness, but I'm very unhappy with their hospitality.

The bath is a little too small but not bad. It's very conveniently located near the main station, important bus stops, restaurants, and drug stores. It's actually the perfect and cheap base to explore the area.

The room was big, but we were lucky that we could reserve the room with a double size, it was 20 m 2. It was booked through application for jpy 400 net a week before our departure. In terms of accommodation size and AC, the room size was good. The staff was friendly, and the attitude was welcoming. The hotel looks old and doesn't offer a view from room 6. There is no parking space in the hotel but there is a discount card park nearby for jpy 800 from 3 pm to 10 am. The room size was clean. The windows could open. The location is a short walk to the station, the station supermarket, and a variety of restaurants nearby the convenience store just a short distance away. A surcharge for laundry and dryer is reasonable and they are polite.
