My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights in March 2013. The Roman is about 20 minutes' drive from yonezawa station, and if you arrive during the snowy season, allow yourself a little extra time roads are narrow and difficult to find. This is a great, relaxing roman with great food that is well worth looking for as long as you avoid the noisy room. Turn up as early as you can and enjoy the silence. The excellent, contemporary, cozy structure offers impeccable service with an intimate atmosphere of just seven rooms two private baths as well as the communal men's and women's baths. Excellent cuisine if you like beef. But the heating is not optimal because it is based on an ac, very limited time for dining and breakfast, 18301900, and 830900 a little expensive. Azumi is very loud, as all of the ac units in the building are on the wall outside. Avoid train connections nearby if possible because they only operate about one an hour. Overall, this is a great, relaxing, and well worth trying as long as you don't enter the noisy room.
