We love this family-run hotel because it is water-powered from the local perspective. They serve traditional Japanese dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also specialize in seafood. This hotel was severely damaged by the tsunami, but now it is completely rebuilt and can restore its lovely Japanese garden.

This is my first experience in a Roman setting, and I didn't fall short. We were foreigners who didn't speak Japanese, and the staff was sensitive. They took the time to explain the rooms and their amenities, especially the young man at dinner, who attempted to explain each dish despite his limited English. After typhoon alibis, I was concerned that this coastal establishment might be affected, but when I arrived, I discovered that they had the protection of a sea wall. And I was told that the water level didn't extend beyond the front garden. Finally, I want to thank Watanabesan for picking us up at the station and helping us book train tickets for our trip. I was concerned about a communication breakdown at the ticketing counter until he came and settled it for me. That is for which I'm grateful.
