It's good to stay here. The staff was helpful. Actually when I went to Luang Prabang it's flooded everywhere, but the mad monkey area was save and the always held an event on their bar, so we can spent night there. Glad to be there

This was the first hostel I ever stayed in and it’s still my favourite. I stayed in the all-female 12-bunk dorm and the bed was so spacious and comfortable - there was lots of room to put your bags at the end and multiple little shelves to put your things on. The staff were so friendly and the free shuttle to and from the night market was so convenient, I went every night of my stay. I also really liked how there was one main table at the bar, which made it so much easier to make friends during drinking games, karaoke, etc. It was my first solo trip and I was so nervous, but my stay here made me feel like everything was okay. I met the loveliest and most fascinating people here who I will never forget. I can’t express how much I enjoyed it here and in Luang Prabang in general, I’d love nothing more than to come back in the future.

I highly recommend this place. This place is in a strategic location. The environment here is clean and the staff is helpful. The room is also very roomy. They provide free vodka and whiskey for a beer party before they serve it. Alex and Dave are very good at getting the party started.

I spent 3 nights at Mad monkey and had a great time. The rooms were clean and tidy. The highlight of the hostel is definitely the social events in the evening! Alex and Dave know what they are doing and really made our trip to Mad monkey amazing!

I spent four nights at Mad monkey with a buddy. We had a great experience and met a lot of amazing people. The bed in the dorms was really comfy and there was plenty of space for belongings. The reps definitely make this place feel so welcoming. They even have nightly events to get the party started. Thank you to alex and dave for creating wonderful laws memories and being so excited and welcoming, it really changed our stay. Also thank you for the three-day hangover after we left, justine nicole.

The evening social events were fun and made it easy to meet new people and have fun. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much to Alex and Jack who made sure we had the best experience and would go out of their way to make sure all our needs were met.

This place is one of the greatest places we've stayed on our journey, we have made a lot of wonderful lifelong friends there. It was a lovely room with a stylish design and plenty of facilities, and the local staff spoke great English and the food was amazing. Also, a special thank you to Alex for assisting us with everything and being a nice guy in general.

This is a great hostel for people who want some socializing without the party chaos. The beds offer privacy, the bar can refill your water, laundry and abundant tour services are available. The free activities are well thought out to offer a taste of Luang Prabang’s culture. What really makes this place shine though is the staff, Poryea is so friendly & kind. He also assisted me in everything that I was asking for. He’s the best! 🫶🏼✨ Highly recommended hostel.

Went to stay at Mad Monkey for 3 days in the shared dorm for the doublebed room for couples. It was some lovely people and very helpful staf. It has happy hour for 4 hours a day, you get a free drink when arriving and they have aircon in the rooms. The rooms are still warm but feel quite private. We enojyed the pool area, especially at night where you could look at the stars and swim around before going to bed. Bathrooms and showers are shared and looks nice. Could be a bit cleaner for our taste, but nothing too bad.
