An amazing glimpse into the rural life in Laos, you stay in simple yet charming accommodations which are safe with mosquito nets and very clean. The food and service is top notch, with delicious options that are not overpriced. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet getaway, walking around the nearby village, talking a boat to the Kong Lor cave, kayaking in the lagoon and just hanging out playing games at the deck overlooking the river. It was very beautiful and the owners have done a great job on the details, even working hard to talk to guests and clean tables to make sure service is excellent. Highly recommend this place to anyone interested in a peaceful get away.

Springriver Resort is a very nice and beautiful place to stay. The staff is very friendly and wants always to help you. The bungalows and surroundings are very clean. The GardenView bungalows have a shared toilet en douche, but very clean. The restaurant has delicious food for breakfast ans dinner. The staff can arranges some trips for you on a good way. The trip to the Konglow cave is not to bee missed. The trip and the cave are beautiful. The only point less is the trip to it, is a bit out of route and takes a bit of time, bot worth the trouble.

Spring River is not to be missed. The location, facilities, food and most of all the staff were amazing. We stayed for 3 nights and 2 full days. Could have stayed at least one more day. It is worth the splurge for the riverside bungalow and longtail boat ride to Kong Lor caves. The resort also arranged a private van transfer from Vientiane and onward to Savannakhet. The van and driver were excellent. Our time here felt very special and unique.

Dieses Resort, zwar nicht gerade billig, aber für das Angebot angemessen, ist ein Kleinod in einer traumhaften Dschungel-Karst-Landschaft. Die Luxusbungalows am Fluß mit Terrasse sind bestens ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts.Sehr hervorzuheben ist der Einsatz der Betreiber,einem Schweizer und seiner asiatischen Frau, sie waren von morgens bis abends emsig um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht, servierten Essen, zeigten die Bungalows und vermittelten alle Tourmöglichkeiten.Auf Kajakfahrten gewann man einen guten Einblick in die laotische Welt mit den winkenden Dorfbewohnern an den Ufern, inmitten einer fantastischen Landschaft. Sehr zu empfehlen !

Rustic place with a great location on the river, far from any of the other guest houses in the area. Private bungalow with a fan and mosquito net over the bed. It’s worth roughing it a bit to just relax in a quiet place for a day or two during travels. A taxi boat will pick you up in front of the resort and take you to Kong Lor cave. The taxi boat is a bit expensive comparatively, but worth it for the scenery along the way and not having to travel the dusty road to the cave entrance. The hospitality of the staff is above and beyond.

オーナーが代わり設備のメンテナンスがなされ、スタッフも対応が良く快適に過ごすことができた。料理もおいしく種類が豊富で、数日滞在しても飽きはこない。雨期で増水のためKonglor洞窟へ行けなかったが、Blue lagoonにボートで行ったり、近くのCaveへ行けるなどアクティビティが充実していた。次は増水のない時期にまた行きたい。

Highly recommended! Beautiful property with wonderful and welcoming employees. We paid more for a view of the river and it was well worth it! Lovely accommodation with a private bathroom and communal bathrooms. The other rooms had shared restrooms and a peaceful view of the river and forest. Due to a bus accident, we arrived at dark and walked from the main road at 1. 3 a. M. Staff welcomed us, had time to eat a nice dinner, and stayed two nights. could have stayed longer. The staff returns home at 8 a. M. Because it is small. But the bar fridge is wellstocked and the same price as a restaurant, so you can still get drinks and snacks after hours. We just ate our meals here because the restaurant was very reasonably priced. The food was excellent! The village is not very big. Some people walked to the cave from the resort 2. 5 a. M., but the staff made us a longbow.

Fantastic! Because it is so well-liked, you must make advance reservations. You will have to walk a lengthy distance back to a village in the shadows if you just show up because the bus has left, and there is no space. You truly get into the jungle. The woodwork is constantly green throughout the resort, and there is boardwalk everywhere. We were staying in a bungalow that wasn't on the river, so having shared bathrooms was not an issue. The bungalows are tiny but lovelyly decorated and spotless. It is important to note that they lack insulation because they are close to one another. The bar is closed at 800 i. I. I. And there isn't a bar fridge in these bungalows, but you can bring drinks back to your place to sit on the veranda and enjoy the nighttime noises. I strongly advise taking the water taxi, a long boat with a motor to and from the cave. It's very satisfying to see the scenery and everyday lives of the locals. There are many varieties and delicious food. The power went out in the evening, which is unusual, but it only added to the enjoyment. Kayaking in the blue lagoon was amazing as well. The most recent school holidays when we stayed here were over. The resort is tucked away on a small private road. Not much to do around. Even with a car. The resort is located right on the spectacular oncoming river a 6-hour drive from vientiane. We stayed in a riverside bungalow with a bathroom. The room was basic but clean and very comfortable. The bed is a bit too firm for my taste, and the pillows are too soft. However, it was lovely to sit on the balcony and just listen to the birds singing. During our stay, the resort provided complimentary kayaks, and we were able to use these to tour the nearby lagoon, which was incredible. The owners were extremely friendly and happy to help plan activities around the area. I will definitely return.
