The location of the property was great, it was right on the main strip by restaurants and shops. Unfortunately the wifi wasn’t very good in our room, and we were right by a kids play area and a restaurant, the restaurant below us did play loud music until midnight, (but the resturant itself is great!). Other than that the place was good.

The location of Melt in Palanga is excellent. You are literally right in the action, and a few steps from the sea. Beware of nightlife noises, if you are sensitive to this. Staff was amazing, and the property was very clean. Although the wifi was a little weak, at times, we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again, as the price is great. Be aware that there is a huge ferris wheel 🎡 outside your window, if you choose the rooms with a balcony.

We booked three nights at Melt in Palanga but decided to leave after the very first night, even though we couldn’t get a refund. The room had no air conditioning, so the only way to keep it even remotely cool was to leave the balcony door open all night. Unfortunately, the balcony was tiny and overlooked a Ferris wheel that kept operating until around midnight. The biggest problem, however, was the noise. Music from nearby bars, clubs, or outdoor venues was extremely loud until around 5:00 AM. Getting a proper night’s sleep was simply impossible. To make matters worse, the only way to reach the room was via a high, open metal staircase that you can see straight through. If you’re afraid of heights, this is a very unpleasant experience. We accepted losing the money for the remaining two nights because staying any longer wasn’t worth it. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and a good night’s sleep, do yourself a favor and avoid Melt in Palanga.
