Excellent! Excellent! Best hotel we stayed in during our month-long trip around Southeast Asia. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. The rooms are unique and comfortable. The location is very convenient, in the heart of Little India and not far from the main drag on Chili Street. I highly recommend it.

Hotel ini memiliki konsep yang unik dan tetap mempertahankan tema asli bangunannya. Kamar cukup nyaman dan sejuk meskipun udara Penang panas. Namun terkadang cukup berisik, karena di luas hotel cukup ramai dan lantai kamarnya terbuat dari kayu sehingga apabila ada manusia berjalan di luas kamar akan terdengar.

I would highly recommend Ren I Tang if you want to stay in a fresco zone. Although several hotels in the vicinity claim to be heritage, many do not. This place is real on every level. They recently installed a lift to make the rooms more accessible and to make carrying heavy bags easier.

I highly recommend this place. This is a wonderful guesthouse with fashionable and unique design features. My room on the 2 nd floor was surprisingly quiet. Ren I Tang is located on a busy corner between China town and Little India and is very clean. I got a good night's sleep. The management team was awesome and did a great job of providing good service. As a solo traveler I really appreciated their interaction and assistance.

nice heritage hotel BUT we spotted some bed bugs at 1AM and had to immediately move to a different hotel, the next day my arm was so itchy from bed bug bites. Thankfully we got a refund although the response from the hotel staff was unprofessional — there was no apology, just a repeated “oh oh oh.”
