This hotel is good to be staying at. Our room is a modern and clean one. The staff is a very helpful and friendly person. Most of the wifi is simple and very comfortable. I like the atmosphere and location of the hotel. It is the best place which exceeds all the expectations.

I spent two nights at the Global Hostel before going trekking. I decided against staying there ever since I got back, because I wanted a private room with a clean bathroom so I could take a hot shower after 16 days. I just took a cab right here, without making any reservations, after finding Kathmandu Homestay. Rachael and her children met me at lunch, and she made me breakfast. She even did my laundry. She hoped that when I became hungry she would take me to the nearest cafe. She demanded that her daughter transport me to the Red Gumba Monastery in the afternoon when I went outside on the patio. She would accompany me everywhere I went - pointed out the best places in the neighborhood to visit. I was given the opportunity to attend her niece's birthday, where I learned about Nepali culture. We took this miniature bus with 12 passengers, but they were crowded, about 40 people. Such a fantastic experience. Her husband runs the alpine adventure club treks expedition and arranged the trip for me. Being at the same location made me more convenient because he could provide me with my permit and visa at home. Plus, I managed to find a decent price on my room after making the reservation with him. This is a homestay, so you might have to follow the owners' agenda as well. One day at a inn

If you don't like being in the noisy Thamel, kathmandu homestay is a great option. Very quiet and comfortable accommodation in a nice family house near a forest.

The homestay accommodations were very pleasant and memorable for me. The setting was fantastic. The helpful and polite people were everywhere. This place is a great bargain that I really liked.
