We had a great time here for 7 nights. The owner, Frank, was kind and helpful. We stayed in the main floor room and didn't have to climb the difficult stairs that are usually a characteristic of old houses in Amsterdam, except to the kitchen. The area is spotless, in the middle of Amsterdam, and the location is close to almost everything. uber is also helpful in that respect. We adored our visit. Quite helpful and kind.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was the highlight of our trip. Frank is a great host, so accommodating and helpful. The fridge is well stocked and we eat so well for breakfast and snacks.

We would definitely return to this hotel. We had a fantastic time at Westviolet i. Frank was a fantastic stand we cherished meeting Blanca! It takes 15 minutes to get to Amsterdams main train station with luggage and 30 minutes to travel to either the zoo or the fantastic museums. We used a small balcony off the bedroom in the evenings. We had a roomier apartment on the lower level. Just be aware that Amsterdams stairs are quite steep, but youll get used to them quickly.

We stayed here for 5 days in early October. Frank was a great host and the location meant we could walk to the best places in Amsterdam in minutes. A great find and highly recommended. Our room had a little garden and was very warm. We had a fridge and Frank was happy to use the microwave for light meals.
