I will surely stay here again. Excellent value and tranquility. James and Maria, 2211.20. Located close to restaurants, places of interest, and on Thomas' main street. The room is a little surprise. Very well equipped, spotless, and it's lovely to listen to the water flowing past the hotel as you sit out on your own little balcony.

I highly recommend this place. This is a tiny motel in a more mature style that is owned and operated by a lovely, welcoming couple. We were given a one-bedroom apartment with modern and spacious bathroom and kitchen facilities. Lots of interesting details, and everything is spotlessly clean. When we arrived, two wall heaters were turned on and there was a full range of channels promised. Nakontong Thai Restaurant was excellent, yet serene and quiet.

We came uncooked on our road trip to the north island and found this amazing small place to stay. There are only 5 units, but they are so special. The hosts are nice, and the unit is very, very clean, tidy, and appealing. It had a really comfortable feeling at home. We loved the quiet, natural setting, with the small brook tinkling away, the bush and the birds. We loved being right in town close to a wide variety of great restaurants for about 6 minutes. The price was incredibly reasonable. We came for one night but loved it so much, we stayed for three! Thank you for your hospitality, we will definitely be back.

We were impressed right away! The gracious lady proprietor welcomed us with open arms and led us to our one-bedroom apartment. Despite being older in style, the unit would have been one of the most tastefully decorated motel rooms I've ever stayed in. It had a lot of thoughtful details, and the decorations made it appear extremely cosy. Being near the stream and listening to birds from the tiny balcony out back was wonderful. The king-size bed was incredibly comfy, and we liked how the ceiling fan in the bedroom kept the still air from flowing. We wondered about town for supper because it is far from a commercial neighborhood. It was a short 5-minute walk up a path next to the motel into town. An excellent choice for lodging in Thames because it is undoubtedly a good option because it is near the city and the hospital. There are only 5 units here, 4 studios and 4 one-bedrooms. There are great amenities in a superb shower.
