Hotellet hadde akkurat åpnet for sesongen. Vi ble tatt godt i mot. Informasjon ble gitt på engelsk. Servicen var bra og rommene rene. Det var litt "langt og kronglete" å komme oss til rommet med bagasje. Ingen heis. Maten var "midt på treet". Det vil forhåpentligvis være med "liv og røre" i området rundt når sesongen starter for fullt.

Vi hadde et koselig opphold på Tørvis. Nydelig 3-retters middag og deilig frokost. Rommet var lyst og fint, med flott utsikt til hagen. Behagelig seng! Anbefales på det varmeste. Dette er nok et hotell vi kommer til å bruke flere ganger.

This hotel was conveniently located along a road which has a lot of drive-able scenic spots to stop and sight-see. The hotel was exquisitely decorated and very unique -- lots of antiques and interesting pieces. Think of it as bed-and-breakfast meets larger hotel. I took my coffee in the morning and found some private spots in the lounge area to look out over the fjord and investigate my surroundings. Our room had a patio, so access to the outdoors was easy. Breakfast was decent. We had a problem with the rental car and the hotel staff were wonderful in accommodating for a phone and access at front desk as much as we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers and visitors to Norway, as I think it adds some character not found in other, more sterile hotels along the way.

This would be a easy 5.0 review other than a couple of small items that made it less than perfect. A great tub, but no stopper so shower only. I was sick that day so the long rather ramble walk and steps to our room was not kind to me. On another day the charm of the reading rooms etc one had to pass through would have been a plus rather than a minus. Lovely hotel and wonderfully located.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful when we asked advice on what to do within the area on our free day. Delicious, big breakfast! Also, really beautiful hotel with sophisticated interiors. They did a great job mixing historic elements with modern elements.

Fantastisk personal! Bad om vegansk tre-rätters meny vilket de fixade utan problem och det var fantastiskt gott och bra vin till! Rummen är något små och saknar tv men utsikt och balkong/terass väger upp. Jag uppskattade inte alla döda djur som inredningsdetaljer men förstår att jag nog inte är representativ i den invändningen.

Das hotel ist sehr rustikal im Jagdstil eingerichtet jedoch nicht abgewohnt. Ausstattung des Bades mit Marmor. Sehr geräumiges und weiches bett. Schöner balkon mit Tisch und Sessel sowie Blick auf den Fjord. Nettes und regionales Frühstück - absolut zu empfehlen

Wonderful and charming family run hotel on Luster Fjord. Food was exceptional. Hotel is run by 3 siblings, all of whom were, exceptional hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

Vi overnattet en natt på gjennomreise. Vi fikk siste ledige rom, et dobbeltrom i tredje etasje. Adkomsten til rommet var kronglete, men rommet var stort, romslig og velholdt. Det var ikke TV på rommet, men ellers helt OK utstyr. Rommet hadde balkong og panoramautsikt. Hotellet har utgangspunkt i en gammel bygning og er holdt i en litt gammel, men spennende stil, samtidig som det er godt oppgradert. Betjeningen var særdeles vennlige og hjelpsomme. Det var lett å føle seg hjemme. Vi spiste bare frokost, den var ikke overdådig, men absolutt god.

Rolig og hyggelig hotell i vakre omgivelser med utrolig god service. Deilig middag om kvelden i en vakker innredet restaurantdel, og en nightcap i salongen. Vi følte oss virkelig velkomne på stedet.
