A fantastic hostess was Tuna. She hoped that we had everything we needed and suggested the bed. Warm water and a comfortable bed were available. Even though we only spent the night in Ollentaytambo, we had a pleasant time here. Ensure you check out the garden!.

After the pandemic, tourism in the sacred valley was down, and the hotel wasn't as crowded as I used to be. Tuna, one of the proprietors, took excellent care of us this time. The accommodations are cozy, stunning, and reflective of both incan culture and the town of Ollantaytambo. We took simple and charming walks from the hotel to the town to eat, browse the feria artisan market, and explore upriver. The nearby ruins are also worth visiting. We used this once more as our departure spot for a day of exploring the park. Our walk to the train stop took 10 minutes. Well, I'll be back. Thank you Tuna!.

Before going to Cisco, I stayed here for two nights. Beautiful architecture. Book a room with a view. The mountains are all around you in the courtyard. It takes one minute to walk to the center, and it is far enough away to be quiet. The staff is really helpful and kind. They called ahead to a hotel for me when I had a question and hired a driver for the sacred valley tour and for transportation to and from Cisco. Breakfast was very filling and delicious. I loved Ollaytantambo and would stay here again if I came back, no questions!.

After visiting the ancient ruins of Ollantaytambo, we spent the night at Samanapaq. The accommodations were quite cozy and peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the lovely gardens with a variety of plants and flowers. The breakfast that was prepared for us in the morning was excellent and provided us with the fuel we needed to begin a day-trip on the inca trail. Tuna, the proprietor, was very friendly and spoke to us over the phone. We had a great time with her company and conversation. Samanapaq is highly recommended if you're in the area and need a place to stay.

We stayed in this beautiful, updated hotel for 2 nights while exploring the sacred valley and getting the train to Machu Pichu. Excellent location and clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent and nice grounds to stroll through. A highlight is meeting tuna's mother. She is a wonderful and caring person who continually provides recommendations, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our conversation! I would not stay anywhere else!.
