On the plus side, the location is good for the city center, the bathrooms are well fitted and the beds were pretty comfortable. There are some major issues here, but the design is basically about how many shades of black you can use and wow doesn't a bit of chrome set it off oh how I miss it. Really pretty ugly. There are some basics missing from what is supposed to be 4 hotel, there are no seating areas outside the room other than the formal small restaurantbreakfast room, the rooms are air conditioned but this turns off when you leave the room, so it takes a while to get comfortable when you return. The same power cut off means there can't be a fridge to keep drinks cold and no mini bar, obviously. The safe didn't work without the override key, and some of the wardrobe furniture was showing lots of wear and did I mention it's ugly? We were also lucky to be on the est floor when the lift broke down for a day! Also disappointing is the breakfast service. One person managed the service and tried to clear plates and set tables, replenish the buffet, take orders and deliver orders to tables. One morning there was yelling for coffee I stressed not by me and only on the third day did I actually get a seat with a cup, cutlery and napkin before me but the orange juice was empty. This was basil at its worst

The breakfast is excellent, and we didn't use the restaurant for dinner. Great location for strolling to important monuments and restaurants. The personnel is really friendly and helpful. Our room was tiny but cozy, with a tiny kitchenette and all the facilities needed. The shower has ample hot water supply. The hotel's decor is really unique, and all of the communal areas are black with odd photographs, which may be a bit overwhelming for some, but it didn't bother us.

This hotel has a very interesting and lovely location to visit. The location is close to so many lovely places to eat. The hotel also has a real vegan restaurant. The flowers are very vibrant all year round. The staff is very welcoming.

I stayed at the funeral design hotel in April 2022. It's located right next to a street with many nice restaurants, which makes the setting ideal for exploring old funerals. The staff was friendly, very friendly and helpful, especially arthur, thank you for your help and pleasant conversation. The room was tidy and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, with many varieties and cooked eggs.

The hotel is well-kept, the breakfast is good, and the staff is friendly. Nun is the best, funny, will help you with anything, just ask. The location of the hotel is good, right in the city centre. It was a great vacation in the beautiful city of Madeira.
