We stayed here for 4 nights in a female dorm room. It was a great experience. The room was spacious and all facilities were perfectly clean. It was a nice touch that the room had an entry area for packing and bathroom amenities. There were 2 separate showers and 2 toilets for 6 beds, all without entering the actual bedroom. It all felt safe with card access and locker boxes that didn't need your own lock but worked by setting your own pin code. Breakfast is strongly recommended as is the occasional community dinner and wine tasting events offered by the hostel. The only downside is that breakfast only available starting at a.m., which I personally find to be rather late, but it seems like all Portuguese meals are at least 2 hours later than normal, which is typical for me. Also the hostel has a shared kitchen to use, an entertainment room with to and board games, and the hour reception is very helpful with anything from local guidance to ordering a taxi.

Where do I begin? With it's intricate decor and tiny patio, this place felt more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. I went with my partner, and we were utterly shocked by the service we received. Our private room was really large, the private bathroom was better than many hotels we have stayed at, and the location was ideal. They provide exact, accurate photos on their Trip Advisor page. Many of my friends and colleagues have already come to this hostel.

This hostel is amazing and I will return to stay here again. The service here was fantastic. The room was clean and fresh, the breakfast was also good.

I went to Porto again this time with 5 friends, but this time I stayed in two private rooms at the hostel and 3 rooms at a nearby townhouse. It didn't let me down! I had comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, beautifully appointed, and I loved the decor. Comfortable chairs to lounge in, tastefully appointed cooking dining facilities, a roof terrace to enjoy the February sunshine, we were lucky!, and an enclosed courtyard at the townhouse with comfortable garden furniture. The staff was very polite and helpful, checking in, at the bar, and for breakfast, which included delectable scrambled eggs made to order. We ate at the hostel, where they serve a portuguese menu once a week 20 for 3 courses, all tasty, with advice from the chef and a very knowledgeable wine waiter. A member of our group fell foul of the uneven porto street paving and ended up with a cast and crutches, the staff went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable. Go is a perfect place for a group of friends, and the photos speak for itself! Put it on your list!.

Breakfast is highly recommended as is occasionally the hostel's community dinners and wine tasting events. The only complaint is that breakfast is only served at dawn, which I personally find to be quite late, but it appears that all Portuguese meals are served at least two hours late than what is standard. Furthermore, the hostel has a shared kitchen that you can use, an entertainment room with games, and an hour reception that is very helpful with anything from local guidance to ordering a taxi.

Very clean, new and nice hostel. It felt more like a hotel though, so it was not easy to meet other travellers.
