I spent two nights at chez Eric, and I'm certain I'll stay again. The setting is tidy. It is secure and comfortable. Very peaceful but yet near to bustling Dakara. The staff is friendly and accommodating. And the best breakfast I've ever had from several different types of hotels. The monastery is the setting. The property is flawless. It is 100 per cent. The area came accompanied by a porch at Dakara. The employees are courteous and efficient, and the brief breakfast of croissants, cakes, and bishops made at home are just as delightful as some of them. The hotel is an experience that you'll never forget.

Eric est très arrangeant (erreur de date et il a su résoudre ce problème, ouf!). C'est un hôte accueillant, souriant et avec en prime de très bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner est divin, régalade garantie! Le logement est propre et très confortable. Bref, je le recommande si vous êtes de passage sur l'île :)

Highly recommended. It comes with a caring hotel, courteous staff, and a bit of a backpacker's atmosphere. I had a nice and clean room, breakfast was served on a lovely terrace. Everything is definitely within walking distance. A bit outside the tourist center.

We stayed here for a night and stayed two more nights later in our trip. We like it that. Its a quiet, friendly, family run hotel. The location is excellent, in a quiet alley but very central. The room was also lovely, as was the breakfast and the owners, eric and kuna. We got everything we could need. Very friendly hosts, knowledgeable and knowledgeable. We loved the built in neighborhood shop where villagers could purchase basic necessities and customers could purchase basic things or grab a cold beer. Everything comes highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The environment was nice and calm. You can get nice cold beer from the local shop. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hot showers. There is a lovely sun terrace, courtyard, and a comfortable spot to sit. A wonderful haven on Gore Island. Eric and his wife are incredibly kind and friendly.

I've been to gorge island for the first time a few years ago. I stayed with my son and we all cooled off together each day on our own. The Gorge Island is a bit dusty and chilly at night. Gorge Island is great for people who can't walk far. Dakara is very busy from Monday to Friday. I would suggest that visitors come on the weekend..
