This beautiful hotel is very grand and is still very classy. It is showing its age however, but we still had a wonderful experience, with my husband celebrating his birthday at dinner where the staff made his night very special. The staff are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Hotel from a different era. This is a great old hotel. It certainly has seen better days but there is an old world charm about the place. The hotel was built many years ago and has been updated and renovated along the way. It’s been a while since the last renovation but the rooms are very nice and spacious. The rate we got included breakfast and what an outstanding value! The breakfast spread alone would have cost about what we paid for room including breakfast in the USA. The rooms are fairly well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the room is very quiet. We booked the suites and having a fireplace in the room with a log fire made the room even more appealing. The views are amazing! Had dinner at the restaurant and again outstanding value. Very much enjoyed this visit.

I was just a bit disappointed that I was allocated a room that I had not booked for (standard twin room instead of the king suite) but after communicating with reservations I was given the correct room. This is a 3-Star property - and as such it is a superb place to stay overnight. Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms, quiet environment with dream views. The restaurant is excellent. Breakfast buffet was clearly 4-Star level. Thumbs up!

The bar reflects the glory of the hotel and is decorated in beautiful African. Tom, the bartender, was fantastic, but that was the only highlight of our trip. The rooms are very old and in dire need of repair. In winter, the fireplace smoked out the room, forcing us to open all doors and windows. The furniture is mismatched and very outdated. This will be lovely with maintenance and a makeover. Location is spectacular.

The staff was very friendly and helpful anna reception and bra in the dining area and also accommodated my toddler. Room, bathroom, bedding, towels etc were always clean. I cannot emphasise how comfortable the bed was. The view is breathtaking. Overall, coach house hotel Zanneen was the perfect choice for my family getaway.

We have stayed 5 times in the past 18 months and the coach house has improved every time. After a difficult couple of years for the tourism industry, the manager and her wonderful team have made an effort. The rooms have been painted and upgraded, the gardens are beautiful, and the heated pool and spa are great assets. The food is topnotch. It has been a pleasure to watch this place returning to its former glory while resolutely remaining relaxed, friendly and affordable. Thanks to everyone.

We visit this place twice a year for short breaks and would place this lodging at the bottom of our list of favorite vacation destinations. This is our second visit to this hotel. We found the dining quality and service to be subpar for a three-star hotel. This is a beautiful setting, and the rooms and views are large. I will avoid this location in the future.

Management needs to seriously apply quality assurance processes. Especially on cleanliness of rooms and restuarant service. A mere ordering of drinks from some waitress, in a quarter full dinning place, took about 20 minutes. Covid lockdown restrictrictions -vely affected some hospitality businesses. But this doesnt mean quality service should be below 3-star level. Except my concerns, my stay was good with magnificent views!

It is a beautiful place with precious history and stories. The view is spectacular. It is however sad that the place is neglected and I understand it is due to the covid pandemic hitting the industry hard. I really hope things pick up and that the old lady can get back her former sparkle and grandeur.

Coach House is filled with nostalgia and has a fantastic setting. We had two rooms. One was quite dated and the other more modern. Both were excellent value though. Staff were extremely helpful, especially Thomas and Annah in the restaurant.

Expedia price good value for money. But the overall experience would be improved with attention to the "little things". E.G tables not properly cleared, dirty cutlery and crockery left from previous diners. Buffet breakfast adequate but an on demand egg service would improve service.

Ehemaliges 4-star Silver-Collection Hotel, das leider in der Vergangenheit abgewirtschaftet wurde und nun wieder zu einem ansprechenden Hotel aufgebaut wird. Für einen Zwischenstopp und Kurzaufenthalt zu empfehlen. Das Hallenbad und die Pflege der Fassade des Bades lassen zu wünschen, ebenso die Außenstühle. Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, Dinner ist gut und preiswert.

We had a wonderful weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is very comfortable, relaxing. There’s a Spa, heated pool, small gym and a nice cozy restaurant. Some maintenance needs to be done on the property like getting a fresh coat of paint and we had a lot of ants next to the room but nothing to hinder our stay.

Rooms are spacious and clean, but the key card did not work and took many attempts before the door opened. The buffet breakfast on the Sunday was cold and this was disappointing as the a la carte breakfast on the Saturday was excellent.
