On a hen weekend, we recently returned as a party of 14. The hotel was ideal for us. The food was good, the rooms were clean, and Nilan the singer on Saturday night was amazing. We had a great time. However, the resort itself was quiet in the evenings, perhaps it was early in the season.

All in all, the hotel is a three-star hotel, not a four-star one. They need many things to improve. The view from my sea-facing room was truly spectacular. Opening the drapes in the morning and seeing direct out onto the sea is quite easy. The problem is that if you open the door for a while, you might find many sandflies. There were a lot of sandflies there the next morning when I opened the bathroom window. The room was in need of repair when a newly renovated hotel. Some paint was peeling off, there are gaps between the skirting and the wall, among other things. The food was not interesting. When I was there, there weren't many people, which meant that the food options were fairly limited. I can see that there will be issues with space for dinner, particularly at breakfast when the hotel is larger. Since the food area is fairly small, there will be crowds and traffic. The hotel has 3 pools, including one on the top floor, where there is space for a rooftop bar that may open later in the year. The view from the rooftop space ought to be excellent.

Overall, Playa de Palms is a good pick. We had a great time at Tropical Hotel. It was a hotel where their description of the sea view actually matched the view from our room. We enjoyed the balcony and the chairs for relaxing there. We stayed on the seventh level. I loved this as we could take the stairs to the eighth floor and the wonderful sun deck and pool area. The views up there were perfect! The drink and food service is also excellent on the eighth level. Our room had an adequate mini fridge that we needed to plug in, comfortable beds, and hot water in the shower. We did detect the smell others have mentioned, but it wasnt a big deal. Housekeeping was a bit odd. There wouldn't be a knock on your room on a whim. This happened not once, but twice! Again, no knock on, just entering. I told the reception after the second incident, but the man was confused by the whole thing well, I too. They would get to our room last even though the cart had been parked outside our room most of the morning. When she finally came and said she would be leaving in 10 minutes, the lady said she would leave soon. Definitely not my problem after all that time! Breakfast was actually quite good. They changed some of the options throughout the week, which was sad because they took away the things I liked. I had

From Milan to Palm, just for a great weekend. Amazing view from room and terrace on top. Comfort was in every hotel area, we liked the poolside, directly in front of Playa de Palm. Definitely a great experience.
