I cannot recommend this place. You will not be bored there. In fact, Lasagne is right in the center of everything. This hostel has a good rotating staff. The guys who kept hostel Lasagne open and available 24/7 each day couldn't have been nicer. Lasagne is close to the tourist-charged rambles and the lively Plaza Catalunya. The rooms are private and in my end of the hall, there are two bathrooms with less thandecent showers. Outside is the old town aka the gothic quarter, which offers impromptu entertainment. There are some acrobats there are some elves, and there is a guitarist and a sax player. There are shops and a variety of magnificent churches.

Location is good, and the staff is okay. But it felt like you were in a prison cell. Bed and room were very small and dirty.

I was frightened by two things, including the fact that the place where the room was cleaned was so dirty, and then the fact that my mother noticed that her suitcase was in an open condition and that someone had sniffed at the things that were missing. They offer a hair dryer if necessary, and the employees were warm and welcoming. All the facilities are very well located, only a 2-minute stroll from the main street in Barcelona.

I would never have remained in this place if it hadn't for the location. I needed a room in Barcelona for New Year's Eve at the last minute, and this was one of the few options available and reasonably priced when I made a reservation online. However, we had a private room with no bathroom, and it was so basic and tiny that we called it a prison cell. Overall, it was at least clean, but thats all I can say, I did not want to stay in this place for a long time than necessary. It was really a scam, but as previously stated, a busy period. The receptionist who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful, but the guy working on New Year's Eve was a horrible one. After calling the door for five minutes, no one opened, so we had to use the phone to basically get in. And when we arrived, the environment smelled of potmarihuana, and the receptionist was flagged off.
