The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and looked like it had recently been renovated, and ideally positioned for exploring the picks. On our motorcycles, we stayed here with two buddies. Our trio began with a ferry cancellation by Brittany ferries with 30 minutes notice, so we ended up sailing to France later in the day instead of spain, so we had to travel down for two days to get here. I emailed and phoned the hotel to inform them we would be a day late and wanted 4 nights instead of 5. The conversation was in broken English, the woman understood, and we received email confirmation that they changed our reservation and effectively didn't charge for the cancelled night, which I thought given the last minute notice was very good of them. Yes, English isn't their first or second language, and we had difficulty conversing with them during our stay, but sign language and google translate were sufficient. As a nation, we can be extremely arrogant because not everyone speaks English, so I don't have any problem with Spanish people who don't speak English. The staff were courteous and very friendly, very funny. Breakfast was continental, but very good. This place is recently renovated, with great beds, a great shower, and spacious rooms. You will feel at ease here. I suggest settling in a room that faces the field or the busy road. If you are grazing right outside, you may hear barking dogs and sheep moaning, but that is preferable to the trucks passing through town. It has a nice parking lot, is in a convenient spot that is 10 minutes walk from the city, and is on the scenic route along the river directly across from the supermarket. Breakfast is great, the front desk doesn't speak English.

There are plenty of parking spaces just outside, which are convenient for the motorists, but the peak season can be more crowded. Although they may not speak much English, the staff is really welcoming and helpful. The rooms were fantastic. Our generous double was fantastic, and our cozy one had a lot of space. Wonderful bathrooms with modern showers, huge and comfortable beds, and views of the mountains are all beautiful. Quick and reliable internet. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. It takes a 10-minute stroll to get there. Definitely suggested for a mountain vacation.
