I spent three nights at the retreat in ngorongo, and this location is incrediblely stunning. We were on work, so we weren't able to make full use of the facilities, but it was a very nice location. I heartily endorse spending a few days off to unwind there too if you are in the area for work. All the amenities in this place are superb, and the chalets are magnificent. I heartily urge you to go see for yourself because the rooms in person seem far more magnificent in real life than the photos would allow. The chef's soups were unquestionably one of the best soups I've ever had, and I'll come back later to try to get the recipe.

My husband and I spent one night here and it was a real oasis. The grounds are beautiful, and the food is great. Much of it comes from their own gardens. The room was large and luxurious. The infinity pool was also beautiful even though it wasn't swimming time. I wish I could come back!.

A beautiful and unique residence. Highly maintained and well-equipped spacious tents. We had a great experience spending time in the middle of the savanna. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. Highly recommended.

We spent six days in this beautiful location. Ideal location for trips to neighboring areas, such as ngorongoro, Lake Manassa, tarangire park, and so on. The lodging and meals were fantastic. However, we must sincerely appreciate and highlight the entire retreat lodge staff. Beautiful individuals, always willing to assist, will miss some moments very much. A must-visit coffee plant near the hotel is an experience! Stephan and Veronica, prague.

We stayed here for the final two nights as part of a trip to the northern Tanzanian wildlife. The retreat was a letdown, though their sister property, African Tulip in Rush, was one of the finest we stayed on the trip. It's hard to believe it is run by the same management. It's fairly obvious that a lot of time has been spent on the property, and the rooms were very spacious and spotless. The area is quite, very untamed, so elderly visitors must take great care to maneuver around. However, we enjoyed the walk around the property. The food was the biggest letdown. We had all of our meals on the property, with the exception of one lunch served Chinese, which was mostly disappointing. The pastry and dessert sections receive a zero rating while the remainder was just average. In an otherwise well-planned resort, one would not have anticipated a meal like this. Coffee, hot cocoa, and water were cheaper than camps in Serengeti.
