I apologize, but the potential is severely damaged by bad management. We were looking forward to spending 5 days in a Sunshine Residence, but we only departed after 3 days! The bungalow is beautifully decorated and conveniently situated by the beach. The lack of maintenance was, in my opinion, a major problem. It's impossible to list all the problems in one day because they are so small. The personnel was friendly, but the issues were only partially resolved or at least partially resolved. The beach was the major issue, even though we only have a jacuzzi at our disposal. It's fun to swim, but not when the beach seems like a junkyard. The three days we spent in the bungalow, including two children ages 12 and 14, weren't close to the ocean, especially since none of us, including two children ages 12 and 14, were near the ocean.4.6/57 May 2022

We stayed in this beach villa for a week in March with my girlfriend. The place is in a perfect position with top-notch decor. Tropical garden to die for. They also have a jacuzzi that allows you to see the ocean. The atmosphere is also very friendly. It was really a wonderful experience to be here. I stayed in a beach villa and found it to be the perfect solution for my needs. After check-in at Milky Bay, very friendly and helpful staff I was taken by taxi to the resort which is absolutely stunning. The villa is lovely and has all the comforts you need and more. The location is also right. I enjoyed watching each day the sunset from the jacuzzi and chilling in the tropical garden. What else is recommended if you're searching for something more? Sunshine pool villa is set back 20m from Baan Tai beach. The sea here is shallow and the sand corally.
Both bedrooms are doubles and air conditioned.
One bathroom has a shower (wet room style but you have to hold it by hand or you soak the entire room!). The other is just a toilet .
The kitchen has a fridge and freezer a 2 ring hob and cooking utensils / equipment. The living room is huge with a sofa and 2 chairs.
There is also an under cover outside seating area next to the pool.
The bungalow was cleaned daily with fresh pool and house towels each day. Also 4 bottles of mineral water on most days.
The bungalow check in and out is managed by nearby milky bay resort. This is where the problems occur as there is no phone in the bungalow to call if you have problems, we had a few days no wifi and a few days no satellite to. Also you need to get you taxi from the ferry pier to milky bay, do check in and then get taken to the bungalow and the same process in reverse for check out. For the money I would have thought the owners or milky bay would meet you at the bungalow.
Location wise there is some building work around here which tends to start early. The people building the house behind have also put a gate across the government access road so you can't easily drive in and out of the bungalow (it's a long and very pot holed path).4.0/51 Sep 2016

Bed was a bit hard for us, and the kitchen could have done with a few more utensils like microwave and toaster but other than that sunshine residences was great. The service is also available with an additional charge to all guests (staying less than 7 nights).
