Hotel Mola is a sweet, small family run hotel with a private beach and nice views over the water on the west side of Marmara. Why we liked it: (1) Comfortable rooms. While not lavish, rooms have comfortable beds, decent storage space, and excellent air conditioning. Ours were also very clean. (2) Great location. Easy walk into town for meals, shopping, etc. Even better: private beach with loungers and umbrellas. Beach is sandy and water relatively shallow. You can’t reserve loungers, so walk down early to put your towels etc on the ones you want and you’re set. (3) Nice amenities. This is not a luxe hotel, but the breakfast is next level. So.much.delicious.food, served on a terrace overlooking the water. We could not believe the generosity of the spread. Beach bar has drinks, food, etc to keep one hydrated and fed while sunning; very reasonable prices. We needed to do laundry so my husband asked the front desk and they did it for us at (again) very reasonable prices. (4) Friendly staff. While many of the staff were not proficient in English (and our Turkish is rudimentary), they were unstintingly helpful. Google Translate was very useful.

This is a real boutique hotel. The Mole is newly renovated and very fresh. It is run by a family and has a wonderful vibe. The ideal location is right by the sea and within walking distance of the harbor. Breakfast is big and you don't need lunch.

I stayed one night and then returned after two days for lunch. The hotel restaurant is run by family members who own it. The location is great and the food was great too. Kind of a cozy boutique hotel with sea views that will surely make you stay amazing. Everything was taken care of unless you don't require 5 star facilities as it's on barbara island. Loved my stay.

Looking down at the sea from the balcony is a hypnotic experience I would like to repeat in my life. Going to the friendly hotel mole has become a tradition for me, especially in the fall when the crowd has left and nature starts showing its strongest, sometimes wild sides!

The Princes Island is not as regularly visited by tourists, Barbara adds, but we found it a charming, real place to spend a few nights. My family and I adored this cozy, spotless, and well-run hotel. The building was built in the early 1970 s and is attractive. We particularly liked the stunning views of the sea and the excellent breakfast and dinner. Nadir, the owner, was an excellent resource for my family and me and was extremely accommodating. Recommended!.

I cant recommend this hotel highly enough. We stayed at the hotel mole for two nights and wished we could have remained there forever. Nadir, the hotel owner, welcomed us after we arrived. He was very cordial and welcoming. The hotel is recently renovated and offers plenty of space to hang out and unwind. It is close to the Barbara Sea coast beach, and the accommodations have a wonderful view. Our secondfloor accommodation was very roomy and spotless. We loved sitting outside on the terrace, taking in the view of the ocean and drinking tea. Nadir was generous enough to show us around his hotel. He has chickens, a cat, and a very nice and friendly dog who enjoys cuddling. Nadir went out of his way to greet us and recommended very good restaurants to us. After we asked, he made sure we had a kettle in our room. Breakfast was also wonderful. Everything was very fresh, and the food was all local. The hotel is very quiet and ideal for relaxing for a few days. We could not swim because the water was a little too cold in April. If you travel the quick ferry from Istanbul, youll be at this oasis in just two hours. I cannot wait to return to the mole hotel. This hotel has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing time.
