The amenities included a fridge, microwave and kettle. However, it would be best to grab your own bathroom amenities as there was only a handwash and what I believe to be a all-in-one bodywash in the shower.

Coming from Devon and knowing I'd have an overnight stay in Treliske hospital we needed somewhere for my partner to stay that night and for both of us to stay at least one night after that before facing the drive back home. Donnington House could not have been more ideal, I chose it initially as it was only about six minutes drive from the hospital. The manager was able to give us a ground floor 'family' room which had a fridge (essential in the heat wave at the time) it also had a microwave. The en-suite was small but the shower was efficient with plenty of hot water. There is a Lidl directly opposite and a Sainsbury with petrol station just along the road. The road, although busy, was not noisy. The day I arrived there I decided I would probably need an extra night an and fortunately this was able to be arranged without any fuss. I'd like to thank all the staff who helped reduce my stress levels due to my health, and for making our trip as pleasant, considering the circumstances, as it could be.

The room and shower were spotless. It had everything you needed even a fridge and a microwave. The lady who greeted us on Friday afternoon was very lovely and helpful. Our room was out the back of the property so was very quiet of road noise. You could here other rooms tv above but only when it was silent. The room didn't have a fan, although we didn't need one, if we had been staying a third night I'm sure we would have done due to it being so hot this weekend. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend it for anyone staying in Truro.

Stayed in a twin room with my daughter for a visit to Falmouth Uni. Beds were comfortable and building was quiet. Great to have a fridge, microwave, kettle in room. Would definitely recommend for short stays / business trips etc.

All great. Couple of pieces of small rubbish in the room that hadn’t been cleaned up, the only negative.

Faultless one night stay. A good location with free parking, basic and room for improvement but it was comfortable and for the price you can not argue. I would stay here again if passing through Truro for one night.

Lovely old building full of character. Nice clean rooms. Plenty of parking and very dog friendly. No hidden extras either which seems to be the norm these days. Proprietor was very welcoming (especially to my dog) and let us book into our rooms early. Big thank you.

I loved our room. It was bigger than what we stayed in last time. Our room came in with a microwave and fridge. The room was clean and the check in and check out process has always been easy
