If your preference is for a modern purpose built hotel, then the Morar hotel might not be for you. It does however offer a spectacular building with feature packed rooms downstairs with grand staircases up to the bedrooms, very clean, modern bathroom in the bedroom we had, unbelievable views from many of the bedroom windows and great food. The staff (Nadia, Tuan, Akram and Trenton) were very friendly and helpful. The location, immediately opposite the station was ideal for us on our railway holiday, but there is plenty of parking too. For me though, to be able to start the day with a 4 minute walk down to the beach and have a wild swim in the sea, before breakfast was just perfect.

Food was amazing, really beautiful hotel and the staff was extremely friendly. There is no elevator though so a but inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues.

This Hotel was amazing. On arrival the check in staff was lovely and polite, the rooms looked a bit tired and small but the view was fantastic. The bar was well stocked with great service. The restaurant was brilliant, good menu and amazing food. Breakfast was equally as good. Great selection and great service.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming, it made us want to stay longer! The hotel is charming, food was great and there were beautiful walks right outside the door! Parking (always a good bonus) was free and convenient. We loved it here!

One night stay to put me in the right position for onward travel, perfect for that being so conveniently located opposite the train station. Had an early start so didn't have breakfast, but did enjoy a nice evening meal of steak pie and chips, with a great view from the restaurant. Struggled a bit to get my room at the right temperature and didn't sleep brilliantly, but I don't think that was the fault of the hotel, rather my travel plans meant a 6am train and I was focussed too much on when I needed to get up. Pleasant and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. I shall certainly be coming back to spend a bit longer and explore the beach and some of the other villages along the railway line.

The hotel was great. Good, clean, comfortable rooms. We arrived 30 minutes early but it was no bother to them. They checked us in with a smile. The view from our room was amazing! Dinner was excellent with a varied menu. Service was excellent and staff very helpful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the hotel to anyone.
