I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples and groups. When we arrived in a blizzard, the receptionist was pleasant and welcoming. The young man behind the counter escorted us to our room and explained what it was like. There was a lot of food for breakfast, and it had everything you could possibly need. Because the weather was very cold and the hotel was beautiful and warm, we stayed at the hotel for evening meals. The evening meals were reasonably priced, and the Christmas meal had everything and had excellent flavor. On the second night, we got chips and fish cheaper than those at a well-known fish restaurant.

The hotel is in a good position to explore the cotswolds and a good option of hotel if you are attending a wedding event at the Hyde Hotel just up the road. The condition is beautifully furnished with top quality food and wine. The staff is very friendly and professional.

I would definitely return to this place. We stopped here for one night on the way home from Recon beacons in June and it was fantastic. Very clean, the bedroom was tidy, and the staff was very friendly, so when we saw that they were doing a two-night stay on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for 558 for both of us, we booked right away and it was worth every penny. The food was excellent at every meal we had, and the location was not overloaded with guests, so the staff had time for those there. It's a lovely spot to explore the Cotswolds at any time of year and has a pleasant central base to work from.

We visited the restaurant during a busy Christmas week when all restaurants in Stow were fully booked and we were so happy we did! Excellent attention to detail. The portions are generous and tasty and the staff is very attentive at all times. The bathroom is clean and well stocked, we will definitely be back!.
