The service that was offered was above and beyond most hotels I’ve stayed at. The breakfast was phenomenal and the kindness of the staff to understand our situation of checking in on New Years Eve was tremendous for us. As we were in a small bind of finding a place after ours was canceled. Thank you Rosslyn Hotel and staff!

We stayed for 2 nights over New Year and had a brilliant stay. Room had a four poster bed that was really comfortable with complementary toiletries and refreshments. We had an evening meal at the hotel and the food was amazing, large portions and really tasty. The breakfast was fantastic, lots to choose from and a full cooked breakfast that fills you up all day! Food again was great. What a fantastic hotel, great food, great hospitality. Great location for sightseeing, good regular bus service into Edinburgh opposite the hotel. Would highly recommend the hotel, really friendly and welcoming with nothing too much trouble. We will definitely be staying again. 100% recommend this hotel, great place. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Hotel was very accomodating for a family of four. Breakfast was excellent. It's a three minute walk to the Rosslyn Chappel, made famous in Dan Brown's The Davinci Code.

Food is nice and fresh ingredients are very delicious. Service very polite and helpful. Made my visit to the horrible chapel more memorable. Pastries, beef in ale sauce and traditional fish and chips.

Overall, it was very overpriced at almost 300 for 2 nights. The room and bathroom looked very old and in dire need of renovation. When I looked inside the bathroom, there was dirt around the toilet seat, radiator, and bathroom fan. The built in wardrobe is difficult to open and the interior needs a thorough cleaning. I was welcomed and friendly by breakfast served on both mornings.
