I stayed here for a few nights because it was the cheapest i could find and i had previously stayed in other yha hostels. They always amaze me how they maintain the same standard throughout all their places, friendly staff, great rooms, and cheap food and drinks. The location is in a great place and has a great view of the canal. Only a 5-10 minute walk from all the shops too!.

Excellent value. The staff is always available to offer guidance and is kind and welcoming. Excellent location to stay when visiting manchester. All the main attractions and excellent public transportation are within walking distance.

This is my first time to stay at the yha, and i will definitely be back. This place is beautiful and reasonably priced. The view from our room window is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The location is close to deansgate, but most things require a bit of walking, and taking public transportation to the city center or puccadilly area is easier than walking. There is a bus stop nearby with a free bus service number 1. The bathroom is okay. The 5 bed room has 1 bunk bed and 3 single twin beds. The floor space is large, the windows are large with good natural light and ventilation. The ac and heater are always on so the room doesnt get stuffy. The beds are changed and the trash cans are emptied, but the floor isnt cleaned daily.

This is our second visit with the family. The room overlooks the canal. We were not disappointed. The room was clean and the kids loved the bunk bed. We all slept really well then went to breakfast which was very good and good value. Highly recommended.

The rooms are clean, spacious and have a private bathroom. The only minor drawback is the mattress, which wasnt the most comfortable. A big thank you to the helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great location for visiting central man.

It was a lovely place with a great location and free parking if you drive. Overall, the reception and staff were lovely. Everything seemed well managed, clean, and wellmaintained. The only thing i really didnt like was the bedding, which was simply too warm and made me sweat. I was with only boxers and had to sleep almost completely covered, which is not always the more convenient thing to do in a hostel.

Good and proper. You have a nice white bed with a light and usb chargers into it. You have hot water, clean sanitary and 24 hour checkin and checkout. What more could you want for a reasonable price of around 30 ps per night? In the lobby you can even have good meals, snacks, drinks, play billiards and so on. The wifi is also good.

When we checked in, we were greeted at this location by the staff. It was my first time staying in manchester when i stayed at this yha location. It was a great place to really appreciate the character of the city, especially its proximity to the canals. The hostel has pretty much everything you need, including a kitchen, hangout area on the main floor near check in, luggage room, etc. Our room was fine, had plenty of storage and a private bathroom with a shower. My only suggestion for the future is to include a step or platform to reach the bathroom floor as the entrance is above the ground, as it is a bit difficult to do so without nearly tripping, especially at night. Any stores you need to go to are within walking distance, about 5-10 minutes, as is the tram station. There is also a bus stop, restaurant, and museum nearby.

The location is excellent, within 5 minutes walking distance of bars, shops, museums, and transportation. The welcome desk is open 24 hours a day, and she was very informative about the visit. Key card given for the rooms. The rooms were good, they were in a fourperson dorm. Had two bunk beds with an ensuite bathroom/toilet. Space for luggage and hangers. Plugs are available. There are good views along the water, a restaurant, and a selfcatering kitchen with equipment you can borrow. Very welcoming and definitely worth visiting manchester.

Lokasinya bagus di atas air dengan kamar yang relatif kecil. Satu kamar memiliki tempat tidur susun ganda, pancuran, dan kamar mandi. Ada kamar mandi tambahan di lorong. Ada juga dapur dan ruang sosial, tetapi kali ini saya tidak menggunakannya. Pastikan untuk membawa gembok, jika tidak lemari tidak bisa dikunci.

We stayed here for the last two nights over the weekend of the manchester marathon. We were greeted warmly and friendly upon arrival. We were shown around on our first yha experience. Our room was very spacious with a large en suite wet room. The beds were very comfortable. We were next to the railway tracks, but with the window closed we could not hear it at all. We used the bar and had food. Great food and service. Its a great location for the city center. The only downside was the location of the bedroom, next to the stairs and the toilet, the door closed very loudly and used very frequently throughout the night. Due to the service and location, i would definitely stay again.

If youre a traveler on a short trip to manchester, look no further than yha. The place was neat and tidy. Easy free checkin and the girl at reception was helpful in explaining everything. If the breakfast time could be extended a bit longer it would be better.
