When we booked a different bad place, we ended up at the beacon hotel. We were extremely pleased to be here. The beacon is present. The room is big, spotless, and cozy. The mattress was comfortable. Water, coffee, and a safe were all provided. The air conditioning was a little noisy. The white house and other Washington landmarks are easily accessible from the hotel, and the valet parking is extremely convenient. We had a wonderful time.

But Elvis didn't leave the building! Elvis Stephens is there all the time to help guests at the hotel. He is a nice guy, outgoing, positive, friendly and helpful. Also, the two guys who often staff the lobby bellhop station are nice, friendly, and helpful people.

The gentleman at the desk, Joyce, was wonderful. He worked very hard to accommodate us if he wanted to upgrade us. The room was very nice. I definitely recommend the beacon to anyone looking for a place to stay I. Do. Its location is close to bath museums and attractions.

This place is not recommended for luxury or high end stays. This hotel is in a nice area of do, but the actual room is dingy and dated. Also, the bathroom has a pipe that leaks constantly. For a budget, this place works, but I would not recommend it for any luxury or high end stay.
