Great place, excellent price in an expensive city. Staff was friendly and breakfast was yummy. Every time I've stayed there were 4 pillows on the bed....would love it if those 4 represented a range of pillow softness to firmness. I need a flattish pillow and the ones I had this time were all high and puffy so I just folded some bath towels for a pillow, But I'll certainly stay here often, maybe just bringing my own pillow

My friend who was going to host me in his home got sick so I unexpectedly needed an affordable place on short notice for a 1-night stay at 11 pm following a Santa Fe skywatching event. Coyote South was perfect for the occasion. A kind desk person received me even so late at night, I found a much-needed glass of fresh cool water in the lobby, the room had a comfy king bed (soo grateful for fresh, soft sheets without a strong detergent smell), a nice shower, a great in-room coffee maker (tip: better coffee in the room than in the breakfast room - or at least my European friends would think so), a small freezer above the fridge, and there were some nice juniper bushes out my window instead of a barren parking lot. Just what I needed...unpretentious, economical comfort. I will for sure be back again when needing an affordable but comfortable stay in Santa Fe. Oh did I mention the supercool starry mural in the lobby? Loved it! But I may be a bit biased given my love for the stars.
