I had an amazing stay at El Colibri Hotel and Spa this weekend and couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. Check-in was quick and the front desk team were genuinely friendly. The room itself was spotless, cozy, and quiet. Beds were super comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. I loved the little details: fresh coffee in the morning, blackout curtains that actually worked, and USB ports right by the nightstand. The Nest Spa experience itself is a standout. I booked the 90-minute The Nest Signature Massage and my therapist, Linden, was incredible. She checked in about pressure, focused on my problem areas, and I left feeling like someone finally unkinked three years of bad posture. Breakfast was a nice surprise too. The location made it easy to walk to the nearby beach, restaurants and the downtown area. Overall, I’d 100% book here again next time I’m in town.

A lovely and charming spot on our coastal drive! Fabulous location with the boardwalk right at the edge of the property - and fun having the spa and fireplace in our room. The staff were all so sweet and accommodating, especially Lisa, she is a gem! So thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional, she was awesome. If you're driving electric, make sure you have some charge bc the charger can be busy and our charging was a little problematic.

Very nice property and look forward to staying their again. The beds are very comfortable and had a wonderful night's sleep. I did report that there was a slight musty smell that may have been emanating from the shower drain.

First timer. Wasn’t sure what to expect. We were NOT disappointed. Our stay for the next three nights was very relaxing and comfortable. From the front desk to the cleaning crew, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Checking in was quick and our room was super clean. Cleaning crew really paid attention to detail. The room was spacious had enough lighting if you needed it. The fireplace worked as intended and it was easy to operate. We brought an ice chest so we didn’t need the mini fridge. No microwave in the room. Plenty of charging ports by the bed for all your devices. Four USB ports and four outlets was more than enough for us. Shower and tub worked without issues. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub area so I can’t comment on that There was plenty of parking. You can park underneath or next to the hotel if you choose to. I saw two spots for electric vehicles to recharge. It’s a five-minute walk on the Moonstone Beach Boardwalk from the hotel to Moonstone Beach. Really close. From hotel to sand within ten minutes. So peaceful!! Nearby restaurants on Main St. were just a two-minute drive away. Plenty to choose from. Remember, no microwave back in the room. Hearst Castle is about 8 miles away. Book that in advance. Hope to have helped and covered enough for your trip. We will definitely head back.
