The hotel, staff and room were great. My only complaint was that the hotel was on one of the most dismal streets in Queens... not dangerous, just blah. Still, it's close to the subway and to Manhattan , and I would stay there again .

The lobby as well as the room were clean. Despite being near the train tracks there was little to no noise. I didn’t have trouble falling asleep. Staff were very kind. I liked that there was a small store in the lobby to buy drinks or snacks since the hotel is a bit of a walk from any convenience stores.

Comfortable, clean hotel at an affordable price! I am a local, and checked in at the last moment, late at night. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. They had a nice free coffee-and-tea corner and a shopping corner with a variety of food and drinks right next to the front desk. The room had plenty of towels and soap, and came with a TV and a fridge. No toothbrushes. The $11 breakfast had a variety of foods and was delicious. Somehow the breakfast was $30 on Expedia; get it at the front desk at check-in. The road from the Hunters Point Ave station is a little deserted at night, so I recommend walking through Thomson Ave from Court Square when alone. No problem walking from Hunters Point during the daytime.

It was better than I expected. I found street parking directly in front of the hotel, and it was free thanks to 4th of July. Staff was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Coffee around the clock in the lobby, which had some really neat art features. The room was bigger than I expected - I stayed in double queen rooms in NYC that were so tiny, three people felt cramped; there were three of us on this trip, and the room had plenty of space where we all felt comfortable. The table and fridge in the room came in handy for bringing our own snacks. Full size bathroom. In a neighborhood that's only a 10-15 minute walk from trains and restaurants. Safe neighborhood - lots of joggers at all times of day. Breakfast for 11 bucks, in NYC? An impossible find. Additionally, it was 106 degrees when we arrived in NY, and the AC in the room worked like a champ. It was affordable, everything I was looking for, and I can find nothing to complain about or suggest for improvement. Great stay, and will definitely stay there again.

We were so pleased with our stay at the Feather Factory Hotel! We came to the city for GovBall and booked super last minute but the room was very nice and spacious. The shower was wonderful and my husband loved the toiletries provided. We both made good use of the complimentary tea and coffee and the reasonably priced market that had so many options for late night suppers or quick breakfasts. We also enjoyed their buffet breakfast one morning. It was all delicious! The staff were extremely helpful we were able to drop our bag off early and come back for ot after our check in time. And they were very informative about how to get to the subway (just a short walk a few blocks away from the hotel) and which apps to use to plan our travel throughout the city. Lastly even though the hotel is located near some railways we were not disturbed at night and I am a very light sleeper. We definitely plan to come back for our next visit and would recommend this stay to anyone!

Wir waren hier für eine Woche im Hotel und hatten ein Vierbettzimmer. Zimmer war ausreichend groß, um alle Koffer offen liegen zu haben und es gab auch einen kleinen Tisch mit Stuhl. Betten waren bequem. Das Bad war nicht mehr ganz neu, aber war trotzdem noch okay. Unten gab es einen kleinen Kiosk mit Süßigkeiten, Sandwich, Müsli usw. Vom Preis für NY total in Ordnung. Außerdem konnte man sich in der Lobby kostenlos Kaffee holen, was wir - und auch andere - häufig genutzt haben. Frühstück hatten wir nicht gebucht. Wir waren ohne Auto unterwegs, parken konnte man aber vor dem Hotel an der Straße. Metrostationen sind gleich zwei in der Nähe - nur ein kurzer Fußweg. Bei der einen Station ist auch gleich ein asiatischer Supermarkt in der Nähe, wo man alles bekommt. Die vorbeifahrenden Züge in der Nacht fanden wir nicht schlimm. Gut war, dass dadurch der Rest der Familie morgens automatisch aufgewacht ist - sind sonst eher Langschläfer. Wir würden wieder in dieses Hotel gehen, wenn wir nochmal nach NY gehen würden. Man ist wirklich ruckzuck mit der Bahn am Central Station.
