Bart was amazing, helped us feel very safe and at home and gave great insights around the area that were very helpful! He made breakfast burritos for all of the guests each morning which was so thoughtful and tasted amazing. Easy check in and check out process. Highly recommend others to stay here and would definitely stay here again!

If you like to be close to nature this is the place. The owner and his childrens make you fill welcome. Nice area with a river in the back. Love the cozy rooms handcrafted by the owner himself.

Rooms are very clean. Hammocks are comfortable as are the beds. Showers are open to elements but there are heating vents.

My elderly mother and I stayed in the guest house. Bart was most accommodating, friendly and committed to making his creation a comfortable and memorable event. Everything was wonderful. It is a bit rustic (separate bathhouse), but my mother and I enjoyed it. I can't speak for her, but I will definitely be returning. Thank you.

God Speed Events and Lodging FAR exceeded my expectations. The grounds were beautiful, the cabana was new, bright and clean. The pictures do not do it justice. I will definitely stay again when I am in the area!

Godspeed is a fantastic location! The wooden cabins are charming, with comfortable beds, bathrooms, showers are clean and well-maintained. The scenery is stunning, there is a lovely creek that runs behind the property, and there are excellent hiking trails close by. The cuisine is fantastic. Godspeed's employees are friendly and welcoming, and they made sure to fit our large group. Anything we needed was quickly given, from additional heaters in the cabins to glutenfree meals. There is good wifi, and the buildings are wheelchair-accessible, including the bunkhouse and the main meeting space. I had a great 4 day stay. I didn't want to leave. Will undoubtedly go back.

I was attending a wedding here and it was perfect! So convenient for friends and family to come together to celebrate. There was no concern about finding restaurants that would accommodate large parties we had our festive meals in the event hall! We also didn't have to worry about cleaning up after the reception. We had an amazing party and then got together in the morning to tear everything down. Godspeed hostel allowed this perfect weekend to happen! No other wedding venue is so welcoming and all inclusive.

Where to start godspeed hostel is more than just a place to rest your head. It's an experience, a family, an adventure, a reprise, and I could go on forever. The accommodations are charming, clean, cozy, relaxed, and personalized. The best things are easy reservations, exceptional prices, and seamless checking. And it's the little things, hammocks hand chosen by the owner, heaters in the showers, owners children to greet you, bonfires in the evenings and fireworks if you're lucky! A creek runs through the back of the property, meadows, a bench swing, and fly fishing. Sounds too good to be true? Did I mention there is a large event hall perfect for weddings, parties, or just watching football games. But don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself!.

This location is a real gem. Since we rented some cabanas and shared bunkhouses for an event, this location will be our first choice when we travel to the state college area for me and my family. The bunkhouse and cabana were clean, cozy, and well furnished. The grounds were well kept, and it was exactly what was described as a four-star rustic experience. Bart and his family were excellent, extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. I felt like family to me. I plan to recommend this place to anyone heading that way, and I can't wait to get an excuse to come back!.

The owner, Bart, is a very helpful and nice guy. The room was new and clean. However, the style of this hotel is very close to camping. There is no plumbing or TV in your room. Very nice facilities are in the next building. If you know this and plan ahead you'll love it. Close to Penn State for football games. We brought books and a radio and we were good. Comfortable beds.

The facilities were incredibly particularly @ the price of $210 per night. I understand that football game weekends are expensive, but guests need to know that they’ll be sleeping on a camp bed, using a latrine & showering outdoors.

Read the information very carefully about this property. The bathrooms are detached....and what that actually means.....they are 50 feet away from the rooms. Ever have to woken up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.....think about it.
