Staff were great, hotel is a pc of history in Northern Kentucky that we quite enjoyed. Room was beautiful. DO NOT SHOW UP EARLY AND EXPECT TO CHECK IN- it won’t happen. There were a ton of weddings going on over the weekend and unfortunately we had a wedding party stay across the hallway from us, that were loud in the morning getting ready and in the middle of the night getting in. It was their wedding so o get it, but I wore ear plugs the second night so we wouldn’t be woken up again. Would stay here again and request to not have a room across from a member of the wedding party.

We stayed in one of the king suites in the North section of the hotel. It was definitely a splurge, but very worth it. The room was well appointed (their stocked fridge/bar items were pricey, but was nice knowing there were things there if we needed them and I definitely appreciated that most of what was there was locally made) My one and only complaint was parking. The garage was convenient, but we didn't want to park with valet so every time we left the garage we had to pay. Once we had just paid the amount due and then the sign on the arm lit up saying parking was free so that was frustrating as well. Wish they had a pass or something since it supposedly caps out at $12, but if you leave the clock starts again.

It was a neat building with good style. Most of the staff was awesome! Helpful and friendly, but there was one exception; a young man at the front desk was rude when I asked a simple question while checking in. He acted like I was supposed to already know the policy. It wasn't on the website or check-in instructions, that's why I was asking. Fortunately a more professional person stepped in and helped me.
