Hotel Galena exceeded our expectations. The hotel was conveniently located within easy walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. The property, located in an old historic building, was clean and attractive and the rooms were renovated, modern and quiet while still maintaining the historic charm of the original building. The owner, Nate was friendly and helpful, offering tips on local sites to visit and restaurants to try. We felt welcomed and would definitely stay at Hotel Galena on a future visit to the area.

Beautiful scenery, to include a fawn visit during a birthday celebration. We walked, five minutes, to the Main Street. Spacious bathrooms. Ideal breakfast outside with nature. Perfect lounging spot.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Galena, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern luxury. The hotel is stunningly beautiful, uniquely decorated with thoughtful details that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The fireplace in the bedroom was such a cozy touch, making the entire experience feel truly special; perfect for a romantic getaway. The location couldn't be better. It’s conveniently situated near the river trailhead, making it easy to enjoy scenic walks and outdoor activities, and just a short stroll to downtown Main Street. Nate was an exceptional host who truly goes above and beyond. He made us feel incredibly welcome and at home from the moment we arrived and was a tremendous asset to our trip, offering fantastic recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities, and even helping us plan our days to make the most of our time in Galena. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our experience all the more memorable. This property is a true gem; beautifully maintained, uniquely decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could want. We loved every moment and are already planning our return. This is definitely one of the most special places we've stayed, and I can’t wait to come back!

This hotel was AMAZING!! It was so beautifully done, and the owner was extremely friendly. The space was just stunning … but very comfortable. It was also the perfect location, as the shops were a short walk away. I will stay there every time we visit!

Wonderfully comfortable, clean, and well equipped. I slept better here than I have in just about any other accommodations. Evening/morning street noise dropped to pretty much nothing at night, and we loved being able to walk downtown. The very clean and well-equipped shared kitchen was a bonus we hadn't expected.
