The stay was great. The hotel had everything we needed. The room was pretty bare bones, but it worked perfectly for us. The area around the hotel is mostly closed, but if you have a car or Uber it’s not too bad to get down town

Nice historical hotel in a good location near downtown. Folks working here were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable overall. Lobby area is hip and comfortable. The only downside is that our room bathroom didn’t seem to have cold water.

We had a great stay. The room was directly off of the elevator on the 3rd floor. The staff were all wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location was great as well. The only negative was the restaurant was temporarily closed. They are remodeling and updating it...totally understandable.

Not much amenities wise but does have parking right on site for $20 a night, an open all night bar, and some scattered vending machines. Beds were comfy, pillows were kinda small. Only a mini fridge and a tv in the room, but hard to beat it for the price!

The hotel and room were very clean—recently painted. Check in very smooth and desk clerk very helpful. The only area of concern was the trash outside the window on the “balcony”. (Cigarette butts, lighter, empty food container/bag/drink cup.)

Hotel is wrapping up renovations, and management has super-gracious about not having restaurant plus the virus-related issues, too. They have also kept rates reasonable, and the new design is pleasant. I will return.

Staff was kind and friendly! I had a concern about a charge that was added to my credit card and a young lady by the name of Tameka looked into it and made sure it was taken care of. The Valet was also helpful and kind! Very energetic! I can’t remember his name but he was working when I checked in at 4 p.m. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!

My friend and I stayed here for the Garth Brooks concert at Ford Field. We were looking for something not outrageously priced and with some Detroit charm, and we found it here! From booking to check out, this hotel was awesome. With it being a huge concert weekend, there was a long line to check in, but it moved quickly, and the ladies at the desk never missed a beat. Tameka assisted us, and she laughed and smiled through the check in process - even with all that stress! The hotel is under renovation, but that had absolutely no effect on our stay. The room was the perfect size and very clean. The staff throughout the hotel were very pleasant. We had a great stay!
