Im so happy i chose to stay here. My friend had previously stayed there, so i felt secure in that decision. And its located in one of my favorite spots in la, so i was happy to go. The entire experience was amazing. Breakfast is included, including continental and pancake mix, and the volunteers organize activities every night, making the hostel very social and a fun place to be. Go to bbq night on saturday for burgers and hot dogs! The volunteers are so friendly, and youll make great friends, whether with them or other guests. The bathrooms are spotless, and linens and towels are provided. And the beds are comfortable! Thank you so much to sophia and carey for making my stay so enjoyable. They are always willing to help and are fun to talk to and hang out with. Truly the best! Cant wait to return!.

If you need to stay close to the beach and the heart of hermosa beach, you are in the right place. The only thing you need to consider is the noise of the nearby bars and restaurants. So bring earplugs and headphones ready or wait. The rooms are well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Dont expect anything super fancy, its as good as a hostel you remember from your youth can be. Parking is also not that easy and public transportation doesnt come as often as you want.

The location was ideal. In the middle of bars and restaurants, on the beach. We adored the lively, lovely, beachside atmosphere! We might even consider staying there! What more could you need in ca? Walking the pier and beach, listening to live music in bars, and staying at a reasonably priced hostel?.

This hostel is amazing! Amazing setting, with ocean views from almost every window. Its unbeatable for the price. Ive stayed in this hostel several times, and its typically a very laidback crowd. The bar below is loud, so if you cant handle it, bring earplugs.

The hostel is the best ive ever stayed in. The kitchen is small, you can make your own pancakes in the morning. There is a tea lounge open all day and night. The location is perfect because its right on the beach.

Ideal location for spending all day by the beach, with plenty of bars, shops, bike rentals, and beach volleyball. It can be quite expensive or lengthy to commute downtown if you plan to visit Hollywood frequently. It takes 2.5 hours by bus to get to Hollywood, and it takes about 30-45 minutes by uber, but it costs $40 usd.

Bravo to Bre, you are a true rock star! Even having a hostel in the heart of such a safe and affluent town as hermosa beach, with easy access to the beach and even more upscale manhattan beach is a lucky charm that every traveler should be happy to take advantage of.

Ich hatte Glück, dass ich das Gemeinschaftszimmer nur für mich alleine habe. Auch sonst war alles super! Für mich als Frau habe ich mich sicher gefühlt. Auch weil das Personal junge Frauen waren (zumindest zur Zeit, als ich da war). Generell war das Personal nett, jung und hilfsbereit! Die Lage ein Traum direkt am Strand. Abends kann es laut sein, weil due Bars direkt drunter sind, generell die ganze Straße laut von Menschen und Lifemusik ist. Aber ich bin nicht sensibel gegen Lärm. Daher war es für mich völlig in Ordnung! Würde wieder hingehen.

This place is amazing. The staff is amazing! Very helpful. Kudos to them. The kitchen is small but perfect for a selfmade breakfast. The bathroom is clean. This is my first stay at a hostel and i love it. The location is amazing. The bar next door has live bands on weekends but the hostel gives you earplugs if you need them.
