The Middlebury Inn is a beautiful, well-maintained historic inn. We had a lovely, spacious luxury queen room. All of the usual amenities were provided…including robes. We overlooked a park and loved listening to a concert in the park. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Both were very good. There was a jazz band during dinner. We enjoyed sitting and rocking on the front porch after dinner. It was easy to walk into town which we did. I would recommend the Middlebury Inn to anyone traveling through this area.

Super relaxing stay in excellent high quality room. (Our two-bed room had two bathrooms!) we enjoyed dessert in the tavern. Middlebury College’s art museum and public art tour are a must-visit!

Beautiful inside and out, very clean with everything you need in one location. Live Jazz in the tavern and a concert on the town green across the street. Enjoyed sitting on the beautiful front porch enjoying our morning coffee.

This quaint old inn has a main building, where I stayed, and two modern buildings behind it. The restaurant on the first floor was great for dinner, especially on the front veranda. This was classic old-school with stately chair and decorum. I loved the bathtub and the bed. The desk and separate chair were well-placed, Glad for the experience.

This is without a doubt nicest hotel I have stayed in the last 2 years. The person at the front desk remembered my phone call and made sure I was booked on the first floor. The room could not have been more comfortable. One area of importance to me is the desk area, which was spacious, plenty of plugs. I use a CPAP and there were plugs available next to the bed without moving anything, well thought out. I stayed one night and would absolutely book here again if in the area. Well done

I love staying at this historic hotel. Ive stayed there twice. It is located near the center of Middlebury so it is near to stores and restaurants. I was visiting family so I didn’t try the onsite restaurant and spa and I didn’t use the a/c since the weather was mild. The beds were very comfortable. I will stay there again. It is a good value.

Lovely staff. Room is antiquated but very nice and clean. You must walk up a steep flight of stairs to the level for rooms. The restaurant is on the main level and was very nice. Location in the center of town is perfect for wandering around.
